Eye shadow & liner colors for brown eyes -?

Hi everyone!

I have found myself in a beauty rut.

I have brown eyes and blonde hair, here is a pic:

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w304/鈥?/a>

I have been using the typical neutrals forever. I here people say that blue or green look good on brown eyes but I still want to look natural you know? I don't want people to see my eyeshadow and eyeliner coming before they see me.

I'm not 21 anymore so I have to look a little more polished.

Please help! Any and all advise is appreciated greatly.

Thanks a million!

I have brown eyes and I've been using neutral shadows with a dark purple or dark blue eyeliner...most people that see it will think it's black, but it gives your eyes that extra pop.

Hope that helps!Eye shadow %26amp; liner colors for brown eyes -?
I have to say, I love your hair!

Blonde hair %26amp; brown eyes works out really well together because the colors that compliment brown eyes, also compliment blonde hair. I also have brown eyes, and here are some tips.

- To make brown eyes pop, I have found the best eyeshadow colors are golds, bronze %26amp; coppers, very dark browns (like chocolate browns), plum %26amp; deep purples, and rose tones. My favorite eyeshadow palette that I have found that really makes my eyes stand out is Revlon ColorStay Eyeshadow Quad in Copper Spice - it has one gold shade, a copper shade, a bronze-like shade, then a deep plum.

- For eyeliner colors, I have found that very dark browns look best. Black can be too harsh, and light - medium browns don't do much. My favorite dark brown eyeliner is Covergirl Perfect Point Plus in Espresso. Gold liner also compliments, along with plum colors.

- Blue %26amp; greens can be tricky for brown eyes - I find that whenever I buy one to play up my eyes, it's hard to get that perfect color. I have found that most blues don't do much, but deep greens with a hint of shimmer look nice. I really like Max Factor's colors.

:)
u take to some adviced of doctor n than i will adviced of ur hair n brown eyes brown eyes i think most like it to me n than ur hair brown so u should take some colour black ya i think as ur like
Blonde hair allows for you to get a little playful with colors... so go ahead and do it! Neutrals are always a good choice because they don't make you look too ';made up';, but if you are really hoping for a little pop of color, it's pretty easy. During the winter, altering neutrals a little bit by putting rose tones in can balance the creamy complection that usually comes with cooler weather while adding a sophisticated amount of color. During the summer months, adding a pop of emerald or royal blue to the creases of your lids can add some interest to your eyes. Or, for a fun night out, you can use colored liner.

Almay makes a really great kit for brown eyes that includes some rose tones. They also suggest an eye liner.

For the summer months, I'd turn to Avon. They have really playful, fun, and inexpensive pallettes.

Remember when applying... use color sparsely. If you spread blue eyeshadow all over your lids, you'll look like a clown. A little in the corner creases will do the trick. Also, adding a little color on your bottom lids can bring interest and make your eyes really pop!

Hope this helps!
There's nothing wrong of a neutral look make up. Haven't you noticed most hollywood celebrities, they mostly have neutral make up look like halley berry and j.lo!

a light shimmery purle eyeshadow over your lids, with BLACK eyeliner on the inner of your upper and lower lid. also put the liner on the outer of your upper lid. Also green, blue, and brown look really, really good with brown eyes!! Usually not the darker colors but the pastals. Then over the top off your eye you would want to put a light shimmery neutral color. It will make your eyes pop. I have brown eyes so i am always expermenting. and i am always getting compliments on my eyes. Also with all of the shadows i always use black eye liner. and um when you use the shimmery neutral color to do the top, take a little of it on a brush and dab the inner corners of your eyes.

Eye shadow for blonde hair/blue eyes/fair skin?

i have quite blonde hair, gray/blue eyes and fairish skin. what eyeshadow can i use without looking like a drag queen!!Eye shadow for blonde hair/blue eyes/fair skin?
If you want a natural shadow to tone in with blue eyes, try greys, silver, blues, cool, brown, taupe and soft violets. For more of a contrast if you want, or to make your eyes seem to look more blue, choose a gold, warm brown, russet, peach, terracotta, copper or bronze.Eye shadow for blonde hair/blue eyes/fair skin?
i love makeup, and i'm always experimenting with different colors on my brown skin... maybe i can help you out a little.

i think you want to make your eye color pop out against your skin tone, but you want to do it using subtle colors. no problem at all. use a color that is comparable to your eye color right above the crease in your eyelid. make sure it's a light blue or gray and that it's a pearl color (shiny) rather than a matte color (smooth). right underneath that, use a darker neutral color like a matte brown to give contrast between your eye and your signature color (this should be applied on your lid, up to the blue or gray). smudge some really light silver (pearl), or maybe even a white color (pearl) in the corners of your eyes and line your lower lashline with it. apply brown mascara to create the subtle but long look for your lashes.

if you really don't understand what i typed, try out almay's remedy. you can find their formula for blue/gray eyes in walmart, cvs, rite-aid... pretty much any drug store. and the colors they choose go so well with anything you wear.

really, the only way you can look like a drag queen is if you put way too much eyeshadow or liner on your eyes. if you keep it light and simple, you'll be fine. also, you can transform your look from day to night just by simply smudging a dark matte color on the edges of your eyes... it contrasts light and dark.

    i hope i helped!
I agree with Shirley, natrual eyeshdows, light ones. not dark ones and not too much.

    =]

    x
Blues and Browns would probably work the best i'm the same except i have green eyes
You sound like me!!!! well i use this creamy pinkish color and it looks really good and i mix it with some tan brown and i really like it! you can also do a smokey eye look that is a little more sexy with greys....

    hope i helped! %26lt;3
I have the same coloring as you, just green eyes. I can tell you from experience that you need to use what is called ';Autumn'; colors. The light tans, light browns, light greys, light rose and stuff that doesn't blare out and such will work very nicely. I can tell you right now, blues, even though you have blue eyes, do NOT work. Makes fair skinned people look like clowns.

I also recommend that seeing you have fair skin that you use meneral makeup eyeshadow. It's all natural and won't cause your skin to break out.
I have dark hair and dark eyes, so if applied right I can pretty much get away with any colors - which is how my sister quickly found out she couldn't. She has your same coloring. She was always getting into my make-up and had to learn the hard way that a lot of the colors wouldn't work for her. My mother also has the same coloring as you, and they have found that light shades of gray and green work best. I think it's CG makes a eye color enhancer eye shadow set that applies to all different eye colors. The colors are specifically designed to go with your certain eye color. A color that also looks really pretty on my mom are any light browns - they look really natural but add just a hint of color.
well you have quite the universal palette! day look try colors similar to your skin tone nuetrals that are light with a bit of shimmer pastells work too and try using an actual brush instead of that thing they give you angled ones work great too for night pick colors that would kinda make your eyes pop terracotta colors purples golds blues are ok too just try to go for ones that have hints of silver in them not teals or bright blues yuk lol dont wanna look like mimi lol

but seriously.. light colors in general that bring out the pinks and peaches in your skintone would work as well. a godd idea would be to stay away from anything too dark and bright no hot pinks reds or blk or drk purplesand alweay with a brush medium shades turn out a little lighter but stil true to color so no color fade jjust not caked and to dark . experiment and have fun thats what its all about. have a girls night with friends and try things out. see what you like and dont. try techniques and give yourselves facials.. its fun and you learn sounds corny i know but its true!
a shimmery brown would look beautiful on you!! brown is the opposite of your eye color so it makes the blue stand out. i also have blue eyes.
    pale pink

    pale brown???
Someone mentioned the peach color. Great idea. I use it and I have similar coloring. Very versitile.

How do u apply eye shadow and eyeliner?

i asked this becuz i'm trying to start wearing make-up.(i'm not stupid,i just want to know how to apply make-up).oh and does anyone know wear to buy bright make-up,like eyeshadow, eyeliner.and tell me what i should i apply it.How do u apply eye shadow and eyeliner?
wallgreens has a good selection and go on youtube and look up how to apply eye shadow/eyelinerHow do u apply eye shadow and eyeliner?
    how old are you?
it depends on what style you want. i would go to a makeup counter and ask them to do your makeup (they do it for free). pay attention to what they are doing and then go to target and buy the supplies you need from there.

makeup counters are at most malls.
Under your eye and on top of your eylid I use covergirl apply with your applicater Its simple just play with it and you will get the hang of it I promise

I have blue-green eyes with a little brown so i am wondering what me perfect eye shadow shade is?

what a lovely eye color! don't be afraid to experiment with different eye colors.I think that a turquois-y color would look great.I have blue-green eyes with a little brown so i am wondering what me perfect eye shadow shade is?
earth tones would look good.I have blue-green eyes with a little brown so i am wondering what me perfect eye shadow shade is?
purple and pink will make your eyes look more blue/green. usually to make your eyes stand out, use the opposite color on the color wheel. For brown, plums and pinks. So with the color combo you have, I'd say pinks and purples with dark plum for eye liner. For drama, add a little aqua or yellow to it.
Experiment a little; Go to a department store, and visit some of the makeup counters. Those ladies are usually hard up to help someone like you out (not that they know best always, but you can try different things).

Hehe, I'm a guy, why am I answering this! :)

EDIT: P.S. Doesn't it also depend on what you are wearing, like what color top? I dunno.
With that color you can do a lot of different things. Try browns, green and blues of course, but also try purples as well. For more help go to this link http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson/wh鈥?/a> The model has eyes that could be similar to what you're describing. Next to her picture are six different color combinations that will work well with those eyes. Hope this helps! =)
Greens and browns would look great on you
For Blue Eyes - Brown, deep blue, and light blue

For Green Eyes - Dark green, light green, and medium lavender

For Hazel Eyes - Sort of a gray-brown, light brown, and pinky-lavender

For Brown Eyes - Brown, light brown, and lavender

I am a huge fan of the new Almay Intense i-Color Powder Shadow . It has 3 shadows in a kit that corresponds to your eye color. Your best bet for under $6.00 found at CVS or Walgreens
Depends on what color you are wearing. Green when wearing green, light brown or dark pink with blues, wearing brown - pull the color with a brown shadow. Always a light color on top - pale pink looks good with your color eyes.
maybe three shadows at once...a brownish closest to your lashes then a light color mauve and then a lighter color pink shade blend together.
Try an aqua-green mix if you can. Or, you can try an orange-brown to draw out your eye-brown, and add a little bit of mystery to yourself.

    Purple would be good too.
light browns or a aqua colour you will look so hot trust me
i have the same color, and i use brown tones, try to stay away from dark colors though, or youll look emo (unless thats what u want)
It also depend on your skin tone and color. For example I have green eyes but fair skin so I dont like the way green shadow looks on me I like the way brown does. If you have dark skin I think green or blue would bring out the color in your eyes and look really pretty. If you have fair skin I dont think those colors look good, I would go with natural colors or blend the blue or green colors with a little brown to tone them down to a color that will enhance and complement you too
you can pretty much pull off anything when you know how to do your makeup well.

Looking forthe right color eye shadow?

i have black hair, hazel eyes, more to the light brown color, white skin, and i want ONE clor that matches everything but will bring out my eyes and make them pop, a dramtic lookLooking forthe right color eye shadow?
get cliniqui ';moss green'; eyeshadow...sounds perfect for you...avoid vibrant greens though, just do olive/moss greens. brown would also work for you thoughLooking forthe right color eye shadow?
I would use the body shop shimmer cubes 4 pack, it includes a puprlie and brown a pink and a sliver.

The pink goes on all over the eye all the way up to the brow. Then the brown goes on only on the lid. Then you flow with the purple in the crese. Then the silver goes on the brow and very outside corner.

The all over is the part from the lashes up to the eyebrow almost. The lid is the part that is the eyelid it stops at a natural crease. The creas is the natural crease where your eye lid stops. The brow is just below your eyebrow where your eye brow bone starts.

This eye shadow works best applied with the finger tips. Brushes don't pick up enough color for a dramatic look. Then follow with maccara and eyeliner in either soft black/brown or black black.
Well I'm not quite sure, but for hazel eyes I would reccomend a vibrant green. Or maybe even a pink. Try to avoid blue! Haha, that's all I can say.

I need help picking eye shadow colors for a red prom dress?

i think i want to do a brownish nuetral colors or a silverish smoky color! what do u thinK? im kinda leaning twards the brown because i cant see myself looking good with silverish smoky eyes! and if i did brown meutral maybe add a touch of pink? i have dark brown eyes and brown hair and my dress is red! tell me ur opinion or any other options i should choose! thank youuI need help picking eye shadow colors for a red prom dress?
A shimmery brown is the way to go.. I have one from Origins. Brown always looks great with red.I need help picking eye shadow colors for a red prom dress?
clinique makes an eye shadow called sunshine, and its just a netural shimmer, its so pretty and it goes with anything. red is a bold color by itself, so i'd go easy on eye make up. hope you have a good time!
Do a smokey gray. It looks good on everyone. Just don't overdue it.

What should I do? (eye liner and eye shadow)?

    Eye shadow or eye liner?

I like wearing gold eye shadow and black eye liner.

BUT if I put the eye liner firs then the eye shadow the eye liner looked faded.

If I put the eye shadow the the eye liner I'll want to smudge it it, but I'll remove the eye shadow... what do I do?

Which goes first? What should I do? (eye liner and eye shadow)?
You should put on your eyeshadow first, a nuetral color eyelash to brow, then you apply a darker color on your lid, and then you have the darkest coolor on the end of the lid and the crease.

After add some LIQUID eyeliner, and you'll look great (:

trust me (;What should I do? (eye liner and eye shadow)?
    easy buy liquid eyliner!

i use waterproof liquid eyeliner and it works perfect!!

    its darker and doesnt smudge!

and when u buy liquid eyeliner put the liquid eyeliner first then the eye shadow!!!:]

trust me, ive worn makeup since 6th grade ;]
    First put on the eyeshadow.

Than use liquid eyeliner if you dont want it to pop out.

but if you dont want to smudge it i suggest using pencil.

But i mostly suggest puting eyeliner with pencil on the water line
what i would do is put on the liner first. now put on golden shadow lash to brow.

now put on a brownish color on top of the eyeliner. thats what i do and every says i look like a model... compliments compliments... remebr

    when using liner:

    1. use light strokes

    2. use short strokes. not one long line

    when using golden shadow:

    1. lash to brow\

    2. add a little bit more to the crease of the eye lid for enchancement

    when using brown shadow:

    1. light strokes

    2. short strokes not one big line

    3. put directly on top of eye liner.

    others:

use some pink blush for an even cuter look! remeber to smile and appky to the ';apple'; of yer cheek. the rule of blush is once you start seeing color, stop applying.

for foundation... dont put it all over yer face smudge it around dark and colorless areas.

for lips, chapstick first ( i reccomend soft lips brand) then apply light pink lip gloss. smackers may look good but ppl get grossed out by the smell.

if you want to go extra far... put on some vanilla smelling perfume and cute clothes in the spring colors such as pink, yelllow, green, blue, etc... ( pastels)

    hope i helped!!! =)

Ooo you're skin tone is lovely!

:-) I agree with above, try strong colors, never go for pinks/red/orange or anything like that..

I think a deep green or even aqua would look amazing, or even purple :) I don't think blue as much, i think the goldy area would be quite cool aswell, if you found the right gold, not a light one, but a deep real gold would go really good with you're skin tone!

I have brown eyes and dark brown hair i usually only wear mascara, lipgloss and eyeshadow...im also pretty young so i would like it to be more of a compliment for my eyes as oppose to lots of coated on makeup..(im 12-14 yrs old...dont wanna give out my age..)Eye shadow....What colours.....where?
Try seeing someone at a store like MAC...professionals there will give you tips and colors and you can buy the expensive ones there or try cheaper similar ones at target or something...Eye shadow....What colours.....where?
well if you use three shades of colour then the lightest goes up near your brows, the darkest goes along your lashes, and the middle goes in the crease. good luck

if you want some practice (which is fun lol) go to... and do the shadow salon
I'm also in that age range and do makeup for friends and family. i also have the same eyes and hair i would suggest using clinique sunburst it color is amazing they are both shimmery.use the beige color for your lower lid and use the peach color from the crease of your eye up about three quarters of the way in applying in a swivel motion and applying to the outer corner of your eyes

tip:at our age you need some thing healthy for your skin as to not create pimpleswhich this is medically proven good and hypo allergenic although is not stated on the label.

You can definetely wear only ONE shadow on your eyes at a time. You don't need to pile it on.

Make sure you curl your lashes with a good lash curler, like one from MAC or Shu Uemura.

Good mascaras can be found in: L'oreal, Cover Girl Lash Exact, Maybelline, Lancome.

Really good eyeshadows can be found by Maybelline, especially their dream mousse shadows. Lavender, blue, green, cream and taupe would look really good on your skin. Just dab it on with your index finger, because you don't need a brush or a set of instructions.

They also have their eyeshadow quads, which come with instructions on where to put the shades. I think this is a new thing, adding the instructions.

I think that you are better off using one shade at a time of shadow, because too much, and not done well, won't look good.

You're young, you have your whole life to wear all the makeup you want! There's no need to rush it.

Light colours will look best with your eyes and skin. If you like, you can further accentuate your looks with coloured pencils.

I have Hazel eyes is dark brown eye shadow a good cooler if not what cooler wold Mack them stand out?

Dark brown might be a little bit much unless you're using it as eyeliner. I would go with a medium colored purple or a shimmery green. MAC makes awesome eyeshadows so check out their's!

Also, a ';universal'; trio of colors that looks great on everyone and is really inexpensive [like $5 maximum] is Covergirl's ';Shimmering Sands'; trio. They are three shimmery brown colors that aren't too dark and aren't too light. They're PERFECT! I use the lightest color on my browbone, then the medium color on the rest of my eyelid and the darkest color just on the crease. It has enough pigment and shimmer in it and is REALLY cheap! Plus it's easy to remove if you really screw up!I have Hazel eyes is dark brown eye shadow a good cooler if not what cooler wold Mack them stand out?
If they are on the green side of hazel, cherry or pink eye shadow makes them incredibly beautiful green.I have Hazel eyes is dark brown eye shadow a good cooler if not what cooler wold Mack them stand out?
Hazel Eyes and brown eyes come out with purple and green shadows! Esp purple. If you go to any drug store or walmart/target and go to the makeup isle. Almay makes shadow, liner, and mascarra sets created for specific eye colors. Go check it out!
Yeah, that would be a good color. Either that or like a dark purple. Basically any color that contrasts from your eye color will bring your eyes out.
wow you need to learn how to spell, or at least USE THE SPELL CHECK! genius! i think eye shadow should be the least of your concerns
To make them stand out even more put some:shimmery gold, shimmery dark purple, silver,or a nice shimmery jade color.
I would try a shimmery light brown or even a shimmery gold. I think dark brown would be too harsh.

    Eye shadow suggestions?

I always have a difficult time picking out eye shadow colors that match my complexion. I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a light, somewhat olive complexion. If this helps, I look most like the Italian portion of my family. It just seems as if nothing I try looks good on me. The same with lip color.Eye shadow suggestions?
I can relate to you... I am olive skin toned and have dark hair and eyes. And i never really liked the eyeshadow looked on me. Except when I found this light shimerry golden color. I don't do alot of color.. I try to keep it simple. Even now I just do mascara... no eyeshadow, just blush and a light sheer nude or pink/rosey lip. I never wear lipstick, just gloss. To be specific may favorite M.A.C lusterglass.. in Instant Gold and Fluster Rose and Love Nectar and Petal Pusher.Eye shadow suggestions?
i have look exactly how you describe yourself. i use a copper or a gold color eyeshadow. it really makes my eyes pop out and look beautiful! Report Abuse

Stick to browns and beiges...neutrals are always a good bet and they look natural.
I have the same complexion, and the ';experts'; say jewel tones look best on people like us, (bright, warm colors that resemble sapphires, rubies, amethysts, emeralds, etc.) but I think they look like I have too much make-up on when I wear them and I feel like I am trapped in 1981. I wear mostly earth tones- a light tan with some dark brown contour at the edges- and a touch of black eyeliner with mascara. When I want to dress it up a bit or if I'm going out at night, I use black liquid eyeliner, to accentuate my eyes heavily. I sometimes wear black eyeshadow or charcoal grey, which sounds goth but is actually really sexy as long as you don't overdo it.

For lips, I just use a heavy sheer gloss, and for evening a plum-colored gloss or gold-tinted gloss. I also use a bit of bronzer instead of powder because it makes my skin glow a bit, and for night some plum blush just on the apples of my cheeks blended with bronzer. That's it for make-up for me.

Some tips: You can get cheap make-up kits that have tons of colors in them for $9.99 at most drugstores (like Walgreen's) and play around with the colors to see what you like best. When you find your colors, then you can go out and buy the expensive stuff that lasts longer and just generally looks better. You can also get makeovers at most department stores that have cosmetics counters, and they are usually free. The cosmetician will try and sell you everything when she's done, but you aren't obligated to buy anything.

    Hope that helps!
You'll look best in medium green, medium purple, plum, medium blue, medium gray or blue-gray shades of eye shadow. Choose one shade only to use at a time and apply it all over eyes, from lash-line to brows. Try sheer lip glosses in shades of light brown, bronze or raisin red. Hope you get the right colour you want now! :) and, if you want any more suggestions/tips go to this site: http://www.myjellybean.com/makeup/makeup鈥?/a>
well, it really matters on the outfit, i'm suggesting a very plaish light green, but always bye the little eye shodow cases with more then one color, so you don't have to ware the same color every day. And the color of your shodow dosen't have to mach perfectly to your outfit, because it shouldn't be that coated on anyway.

P.S. NEVER coat it on, makeup is ment to make you look naturally beatiful, not like you need it. Pus, if you want to go to the gas staion or something and don't want to have to perfect yourself, you can go without makeup without it being super obviouse, people will just think you had an ';off'; day.
i would look at Penelope Cruz. If I'm understanding you may be close in color and I've never seen her go wrong in the make-up department.
Try brown eyeliner with a light brown, shimmery shadow. Brown eyeliner works well with any shadow except black, but black eyeshadow with your dark hair might be too much.
I'd try a mossy green, gray, or purple eyeshadows and liners (I don't mean all at once, lol). As for lipstick, I don't know what to tell you. You could always go with a sheer neutral gloss to offset eyes that are more played-up, thus eliminating any lipstick confusion. Try going to the websites of makeup sellers for hints, or browse the beauty section of the bookstore for makeup help.
    then dont wear any
Try green eye shadow or brown. If you use brown, put dark brown first and then light brown on top ...
Mary Kay.com has a virtual makeover. Or you could find a consultant and have them give you samples. They do free facials or glam-o-rama's. It's really fun, get your friends together and call 1-800-Mary-Kay.
You may want to try going to a MAC counter and asking a makeup artist to help you out with different colors. They will apply many different shades to help you figure out what looks great on you. I have done this and I feel in love with MAC. Every female in my home uses it.
pink, light green, light blue, peach, silver. and plain the one that jus shows glitter

Whats The Sexiest Eye Shadow Colour?

I like wearing black or dark grey xxWhats The Sexiest Eye Shadow Colour?
I wear a dark gray, almost black, by Victoria Secret as my base color, right above my eye lid, and then highlight my eyes with a pink chiffon, that appears to be white when you have it on. I also go over the base color, which lightens it a bit. It gives a very dramatic, mysterious look to my eyes and brings them out quite well compared to other colors.Whats The Sexiest Eye Shadow Colour?
    smokey
It's not the colour of the shadow that's sexy - it's your eye and the way you wear your makup.
purple, pink, brown, and silver! you can but them on ebay and craigslist and amazon .com!
I have to say a charcoal grayish black on the lid, and whiteish gray on the brow bone to the crease. To define your eyes, use black eyeliner all the way around your eyes
First of all , I'm Jose's daughter , i'm only , like , 11 yeears old and I think the sexiest one would be light red , may add some dark red lips and mascara ?
The sexiest colour? Hmm.. I think a dark purple. Not on the full lid. Just near the lash line. And, taking an angle brush, you use a slightly lighter purple and, take the brush, then go up. Not all the way up! It's hard to explain. But, it's soo sexy... Especially with green eyes.

But, the sexiest effect on eyes, is the smoky eye. In my opinion..

Hope i helped :-D xWhat colors in this M.A.C eye shadow would look good on me?
    I love your skin-tone.

Colors that go along with you would be,Red,Blue ( No dark,DARK shades)

    Just something to stand out.

    Retrospeck Beached blonde (Lustre)

    definately your shade.

    Eye shadow....What colours.....where?

okay so i know that youre supposed to wher more than one shade of eye shadow on you lids but how do i know what colour goesn on where??? im not amazing at makeup and dont spend that much time on it but if you could just give me a few good suggestion of what colours and products and how to apply it would be amazingly great thankx a bunch!!!

I think dark brown would be too harsh.

deffinitly go with MAC. it is very high quality brand. also it is the cheapest of the high quality ones (i.e NARS, Bobbi Brown...)

All of the following are from MAC

    eye shadows

    black-carbon:(Matte) or Black Tied:(shimmer)

    red- Passionate:mid-toned red (matte)

Dark Blue- Nehru:muted bluish black (matte) or Deep Truth:true dark blue (frost)

Bronze- Soba:gold brown with gold shimmer (Satin) or Bronze:gold bronze with gold-bronze shimmer (frost)

    lipstick

    3-D:peach-brown with violet pearl (Frost)

    eyeliner

    (eye kohl liner)Smolder:intense black

^^easier for smudging and making the smokey look

    foundation

Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation (for that flawless silky look)

    concealer

Select Cover-Up: liquid camouflage for the skin. Texture-free, virtually invisible.Eye shadow/liner, lipstick, etc. suggestions............? Ten points to most thorough answer =]?

    eyeshadow=avon is awesome.

eyeliner=maybelline waterproof smudgeproof in onyx [or any color]

concealor=sheer cover. [just go to ebay and find some brand new. it's not pricey on there like it is on the actual website]

foundation=neutrogena. [not sure what it's called but it's the newest and it's liquid]
In my opinion you don't need expencive things like MAC for eyeshadow... nearly all cosmetic brands do a bronze, black etc. If you want shimmery ones.. buy those, but if you cant get a white shimmery one and apply it over the top it'll keep the colour and add the glitter. Just make sure you test them before buying... some eyeshadows suck and no colour comes off but some are very pigmented. I got a pallet off ebay for 拢5 with about 50 colours in and they are AMAZING. better than my MAC stuff anyday.
MAC is amazing for eye shadows that you wanted, and their fluidline eyeliner is amazing!

As for concealer and foundation, I love Sonia Kashuk concealer palette from target. And Clinique has great foundations for all skin types.

  • Eye shadow color for my big day?

I will be doing my own make up in 4 weeks when I get married. I have brown hair, and brown eyes and have a little tan. My question is should I use a light, shimmery brown eye shadow or a pink flat colored eye shadow or buy something else? I dont go all crazy with the eye shadow because i cant artfully layer it like most people do, so it just goes on my lids.

Also should I wear it more heavily than normal since my face doesnt tend to keep makeup all day?Eye shadow color for my big day?
Stay natural. If loud colors aren't for you, then it shouldn't be any different for your wedding. Use colors that you've worked with before ... pinks and browns are good - maybe light lavender, depending on skin tone.Eye shadow color for my big day?
Try going to a department store makeup counter and tell them what you want and the look you are trying to achieve. They'll be able to teach you how to make your eyes look fantastic, and give you some tips.

Best wishes! Have a fantastic day!
I would say a pretty shimmery bronze. I have black hair and brown eyes as well and I'm tanned colored (i'm west indian) and I will be using the bronze for my aug. wedding...Good Luck.DO NOT use that flat pink...yuck...especially on brown eyes.
Totally stick with matte neutrals - a sable for the crease and to fan out a bit on the side, maybe a light peach for the inner lid, and a lighter shimmer on the top near your brow.

Get a Cover Girl compact of four colours in neutrals/brows, they even include a little diagram. That's how I learned....
I would do it just as you do every other day. You will be in focus most of the night and you do not want to be too over done. Let your natural beauty shine through. Use your flat color and if you want add a very light shimery pink to it.
Try it several ways, and solicit your friends' or family opinions. To have the eye shadow last longer, use an eye shadow base that you put under the eye shadow to keep it from creasing. A t-zone mattifier on your face is a must, too.
You should use a color that matches your bridesmaids dresses. It will look great because probably your flowers are also the same color!

    Good lucK!
I would try a Macy's and get a free makeover..... see what they do and tell them your not very good with makeup and ask them to show you how to apply it :)

It's hard to answer without seeing you.....

Also ask a friend who is good at makeup to help you? Maybe someone can apply it for you?? I have done it myself for friends in a pinch.

Actually the makeup isn't that $$ Estate Lauder is only $35 for powder, $30 for tint and their eye shadows are only $5-$25 dollars. Plus you really need to get a good foundation and powder to keep your makeup on. I heard MAX is good to and they are a cheaper nice line. Plus you get free gifts and fee samples so it even out.
    Go for a sheer gold.
Brown eye shadow or even something with a green tint works well.

My eyes are brown with a little bit of gold in them. I use a green/gray eye shadow with a cinnamon dust and dark brown eyeliner/mascara. I just don't like the pink because well its pink and because it makes me look puffy/bug-eyed. I like the dramatic eye makeup where thats what stands out.

If you just want to experiment buy one of those kits for teenage girls and try on a bunch of colors until you find your fav. then buy that color in a quality makeup brand.
If you are not afraid of color use purple or lilac. I have brown hair and brown eyes and I wore that to my wedding. Or go for a gold color for a glowy look. I would wear it just a tad heavier if you are having an evening wedding. Otherwise, just touch up your make up before the ceremony.
Do go with anything too bright, what looks good in real life maynot look all that good on camera. I suggest going with light shades of pink and champagne with a slight shimmer (not too much other wise it will reflect to much light).

Practice your makeup and then have someone take pictures of you outside in natural light so you can get an idea of how it shows up on film.

This is not the day to try new looks, go with what make you look like you only better.
    try different ways.

try the almay color intense eye showdow for brown eyes.

i used it (and still do. right now infact) for my wedding day. i used the shades for hazel eyes sincei hvae hazel/green eyes and it really does bring out the color and make them pop.

im sure they do the same for everyother eye color too.

:) and, if you want any more suggestions/tips go to this site: http://www.myjellybean.com/makeup/makeup鈥?/a>

i would look at Penelope Cruz.
It's really fun, get your friends together and call 1-800-Mary-Kay.

which color is perfer ?Which blush and eye shadow color i should buy?
Personally I like the first one better but they are both beautiful and truly unique.Which blush and eye shadow color i should buy?
Ok, sweetie. I don't know if you're a ';yellow,'; ';blue,'; ';olive,'; or other tone. Myself, I'm a ';yellow.'; That means certain colors go well on me and don't make me look sickly or garish. Those colors are dark reds, browns, pale violets, pale pinks, white and cream colors, certain greens, gold, yellow (imagine that!), burgundy, black, grey, dark blue, etc. Those are clothing colors suitable for me, and the makeups can be pale shimmery colors like pinks or dark like dark browns, greys.

These websites will help you discover what your tone is and that will help you decide which makeup to buy, if you buy any. Good luck!

Whats The Sexiest Eye Shadow Colour?

smokeyWhats The Sexiest Eye Shadow Colour?
I wear a dark gray, almost black, by Victoria Secret as my base color, right above my eye lid, and then highlight my eyes with a pink chiffon, that appears to be white when you have it on. I also go over the base color, which lightens it a bit. It gives a very dramatic, mysterious look to my eyes and brings them out quite well compared to other colors.Whats The Sexiest Eye Shadow Colour?
It's not the colour of the shadow that's sexy - it's your eye and the way you wear your makup.
purple, pink, brown, and silver! you can but them on ebay and craigslist and amazon .com!
I have to say a charcoal grayish black on the lid, and whiteish gray on the brow bone to the crease. To define your eyes, use black eyeliner all the way around your eyes
I like wearing black or dark grey xx
First of all , I'm Jose's daughter , i'm only , like , 11 yeears old and I think the sexiest one would be light red , may add some dark red lips and mascara ?
The sexiest colour? Hmm.. I think a dark purple. Not on the full lid. Just near the lash line. And, taking an angle brush, you use a slightly lighter purple and, take the brush, then go up. Not all the way up! It's hard to explain. But, it's soo sexy... Especially with green eyes.

But, the sexiest effect on eyes, is the smoky eye. In my opinion..

you're too young to wear makeup. wait untill highschool, then wow all the boys with your ability to put on eyeliner (which they don't even care about).

a lot of guys don't like a lot of makeup on a girl. i don't like the guys that think that, because i'm more into...other subcultures. but you might want that guy who likes a girl who goes natural.I am 12 and weat mascara eye shadow and lip gloss. Any tips? When is it too much? To little?

well all you have to remember is makeup is to enhance your features not cover up your whole face and that a little bit goes a long way im sure if you go to cosmo girl.com or seventeen.com they will have lots of tips on that.
i think that mascara and eye shadow is too much at 12.all you need is either a little lip gloss or tinted chapstick.
Personally I don't think you should be wearing MAKE UP anyway but you will know when you are using to much like when you look like a clown or something.

    TIPS

    blush-very little but still visible

eyeshadow-mild usage bring out your eyes

    mascara-mild usage

lip gloss- a lot but not too much where you are practically eating it!

    Good luck!
hey im 12 too too little is if ur not wearing any but dont put eyeshadow right underneath the brow put it on the lid mascara and eyeliner, concler and some gloss add SOME gloss on the check bone if u want color and ur all set
I am twelve as well, but I only wear lip gloss. I don't like mascara. I tend to rub my eyes.
Why the hell are you wearing mascara at age 12? Little girl, here's a piece of advice that a lot of people are going to give you: work on life (as in school, and judging from your question, you need to work on that hard) before working on being popular or else you're going to be flipping burgers for the rest of it.
I wear about a thin line of black eyeliner under the bottem only. i also only wear about a small amount of mascara on my eyes so it doesnt look clumped. any color eyeshodow would do, just make sure it matches what ur wearing and only put it on the lid of the eyelid. i recommend blue eyeshadow, though. some blush would also look nice, just dont put on 2 much, or u'll look like a clown. it does'nt matter what brand of lip gloss or anything u use, i usually use non-sparkled lip gloss. 2 me, it make my lips WAY 2 un-natural and shiny. if u like it though, put on a small amount. the trick 2 great make-up? a small amount. it would make u look naturally beautiful. witch i dont think that would be a huge problem 2 u. good luck! i am also 12 and wear this stuff =D
Just find a bronzer that you like. It can be used for a blusher and eyeshadow. The best tip is just to go natural as possible and let your true beauty shine through. My daugther has freckles and she trowels creme foundation and powder and a bunch of crap on her face to hide them. They are a beautiful part of her and she is ruining her skin to cover them up. Use a little mascara and a pretty lip gloss. Have fun and experiment. That is the best way to learn. Good Luck.

What eye shadow looks best on light brwn. eyes?

just wonderingWhat eye shadow looks best on light brwn. eyes?
earth tones like plums and greenWhat eye shadow looks best on light brwn. eyes?
pinks, browns, those are the best color eyes because any color really looks pretty. i would say purple would be very nice

Best eye shadow color for green eyes?

black always complements green eyes. like mascara and eyeliner and black eye shadow. brown also looks niceBest eye shadow color for green eyes?
Go to your local Walmart or drug store and look for Almay's eyeshadows for greens. They're pretty cheap and I've always liked their colors for hazels.

See: http://www.almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.鈥?/a>Best eye shadow color for green eyes?
pale pink shimmer would look nice on green eyes ,i had gifted it to one of my friends and i had shopped for it from Shoppers Stop as they have a really nice display of cosmetics from the top - most brands
I have hazel, and when i use purple it really brings out the green..So i say purple would make them pop..
My eyes change color, but whenever they're green, I use like a brown(:
Purple really helps contrast and bring out green.
the best eye shadow for green eyes i find is green with maybe a little purple
    blue

I need some good eye shadow colors for hazel eyes...?

i have fair skin, with little tan, and my hazel eyes are not the normal ';hazel.'; they change. a lot. and it's annoying because i can never find a good color for my eyes. i need some good, but not expensive eye shadows, and maybe some eye liner and mascara. if it helps, maybe the ';natural colors.';I need some good eye shadow colors for hazel eyes...?
    Hi Chelsea!

Hazel Green eyes are played up best with shades of plummy pinks and deep rusty copper tones - think of shades with reddish undertone to compliment the green of your eyes. With such a fab combo of eye colors, you have loads of options to experiment with for eyeshadow!

Use a pencil in a deeper hue of your chosen eyeshadow to line your whole eye. Smudge your eyeshadow into the eyeliner (to soften the liner, and to add depth) with a firm pointed soft bristled brush (like M.A.C's #219).

Blend a soft creamy shimmery nude pink shadow on your lid or as a highlight, (depending on your eye shape) to enhance the brown. Orange tones will make your eyes look more hazel.

Use dark brown mascara on top lashes, shape your brows, and brush on a natural brow color to frame your eyes.

    * If you have green or hazel eyes then you should brighten these lovely eyes with the shades such as brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green.

In order to have that ultra-modern look you should use gold, lime-green, light green or bright purple shades.

Violet or purple liners make hazel eyes stand out green.

Where on the one hand the looks of your eyes are important as they reflect your views, on the other hand their shape also plays a very significant role in enhancing your beauty. You could be the owner of any one of different types of eyes such as close-set eyes, small eyes, deep-set eyes, and drooping eyes etc. But all of these could be made more attractive by using eyeliner.

    Close Set Eyes

With such type of eyes you should line outer third of upper lids with gray, brown or black liner and smudge gently. You should use a lighter liner on the inner eye if you want to widen the space between such eyes.

    Small Eyes

For such type of eyes you should draw a dark line with the eyeliner, gradually thickening at outer edge of the eyes. You should use a light colored pencil such as gold, silver, white etc. and draw under the lower lash.

    Deep Set Eyes

In case of such eyes you should line the upper lash line with pale, shimmer liner. Then you should line outer edge of lower lash with a soft, neutral shade like gray or taupe etc. Doing this will help you create the illusion of a less heavy lid.

    Drooping Eyes

For such eyes you should line outer third of the eyes very close to the lashes, carefully sweeping the liner up at the corner of the eye.I need some good eye shadow colors for hazel eyes...?
    green
i suggest canary yellow, and shimmery dark brown to create depth at the eye sockets for more dimension. If it changes, you can try pastel yellow, it will looks great in all colours outfit.

On the safer side, nude browns, earth colours with shimmer. Or shimmery gold.

Loreal Volume shocking mascara...it will create dramatic looks! U can try brown...for more natural look, black for more dramatic. It really work wonders.

Eyeliner, use khol pencil with brown or black tones.

For long lasting and good investment, Long Wearing Eyeliner by bobbi brown...do refer to the source for you to check it out...when u have extra to spend yah!

Gurl, usually inexpensive eyeshadows dun really give the impact and intensity of certain colours. For you to achieve that, when u apply concealer on ur undereye apply it to your lids as well. With the tips of your fingertips. It blends the concealer to your skin temperature thus making your eyeshadow application more intense colour thought u apply a little....
You should use Almay Intense Eye Color for hazel eyes...

    http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyesl…
    bronze brown pink
I also have hazel eyes. Since purple is the opposite of green it contrasts beautifully with the green in my hazel eyes. You should try Almay's intense eye color eye shadow. They have shades designed specifically to bring your own unique eye color. Also try pinks, browns, and golds.
Light lavender and plum colours go well with hazel eyes.
I agree with beadtheway, I use it and it's great!
The BEST eyeshadow for hazel eyes is the combination that Almay sells. It says right there on the package - HAZEL! LOL... It's pink, with a sparkly taupy brown crease color and beigey highlight. Good luck!
My eyes are hazel and they change a lot, I use green a lot.
Yes, natural colors can look great. You can try various shades of tan, brown, maybe gold or silver (warm or cool). You can also use a bit of blush on your eyelids. That may sound funny but it can give a very pretty, natural look as long as you don't use such a strong pink that you look like you have an eye infection.
You should wear a light purple colour! That will make the hazel colour POP! You should pick a lavender colur with maybe a little shimmer that wouldnt be anything too crazy.

I would go with brown tones. What color eye shadow should i use ?
If you want to make your eye color pop out, it is best to use purple colors. Like lavender. I have brown eyes and the light purple colors really pop.

For instance, I like to take a light purple and put it on the inner eyelid, then on the outer half apply a darker tint of purple and in the crease choose a dark plum color. It gives depth and really brings out the brown.

however, makeup is an awesome thing, you can wear ANY color you choose if you have the confidence to.
i feel like purple would clash with your red hair.

definitely go with earthy tones. like golds and browns.

i bet a subtle green would look really good with the red hair/brown eyes combination.

Try either a silver or a champagne colored eyeshadow. Make sure the color is sheer, though; don't pile it on. You don't want your eyeshadow to be the center of attention for a formal event. If you're more into bright colors, you could try a light purple.
it depends on ur skin colour but i would go with pink a light pink or cream
    a dark color... like grey
i wouldn't use purplle caus eyour dree sisn't purple right? i would wear a light brown or even a cream color. you really don't always have to wear eyeshadow to make your eyes stand out. Just line the top and bottom of your eyes with black eyeliner and use some mascara.
I agree with the purple shadow suggestion completely :). A lilac or violet will look amazing, and it will bring out your green eyes more.

I think either a plummy purple or a camouflage/forest green would be a good eyeshadow. For eyeliner and mascara I would try a brown/black color and line the bottom with a pencil/crayon type liner, and the top with a liquid liner. Good luck.
Because you have a neutral colored eye, you can wear literally almost any eye shadow you fancy.

I normally wear black eyeliner and mascara all the time, but for you, how about a gray or steel color shadow, with a black or charcoal gray liner? That would look lovely.

Soft cool colors would look nice also.

They might say we're not meant to be, but what do they know of us?

Of what we have been through so far, or what we will continue to go through?

No tears shall fall, except for tears of joy.

Yes, our love will will set us free, one day.

Our touch may be tremulous, but it is new and welcoming all the same. I could think of anywhere I'd rather be, but dancing in your arms, in your warm embrace.

As I have your hand and you have my heart I believe you when you say we'll fly.

I will never question this or ask why. But I too am stronger with you.

I could never imagined that someone could intrigue my heart so.

Do you fancy blue eye shadow?
That is quite a beautiful black cat. I can relate this to my husband and I very much. We were very young when we fell in love and faced the doubts and criticism of our families. Eights years later (four of them married), we are still quite a team :)

I really like the last stanza...don't question what the future holds, lets just live right here in this lovely moment and face the doubts of others hand in hand. Beautiful writing, Eva!
I love this! I know I can relate in 2 ways:

    1st marriage- They were right

    2nd marriage- Forever

I don't wear makeup much, the toilets don't care what I look like.

listen up! the creamy eyeshadow is perfect for the non oily skin. it lasts for long %26amp; it gives shiny look which reflects on ur eyes.

you have 2 mix to colours to get a nice look. for example; pink with yellow if ur wearing jeans, black with grey gives a wild sharp look

golden is very nice with brown eyes, green %26amp; crimison with green eyes. you have to practise at home so u get the perfect look
lilacy , light purple tones for green eyes, browns also look nice
i think a goldish color would make green eyes pop.
if you look on Avon they make eyeshadows that come in 4 for that special combo just for you! i suggest greenish colors and light browns...

Maybe a nice light pink or purple with a shimmer to it
it all depends on your skin tone. if you are light, greenish stuff is good. if you are olive or medium, rosy warm colors like peach, dark pink, and orange (not neon! normal orange) dark skin is best with natural looking purples

For eyeshadow use lighter colors to make your eyes appear wider. Try shimmery light purple (it would really bring out your eyes), neutrals, and golds. Instead of lipstick stick to a sheer lipgloss, I would use a slight pink or nude color. What color lipstick and eye shadow would look best on me? [pic included]?
i wouldn't use lipstick. i would use lip gloss because it makes your lips shiny and it tastes a lot better then lipstick!(: the color you should use would probably be a light pink or clear. for eyeshadow i think you should just make it look natural. ur a pretty girl so i don't think you should over do ur eye makeup. try just using browns and whites and neutral tones. if your going to use eyeshadow i think you should also use a lite coat of mascara and eyeliner. this will bring out your eyes and make them the most noticed facial feature. the color of eyeliner you should use is brown this will blend nicely with the brown eyeshadow. and for the bottom eyeliner i would use black. this is a nice touch. it makes the eyes pop out and make them seem bigger. if you need any more advice just e-mail me!

    hope this helps!!(:
In my opinion....A nice subtle shade of green eyeshadow will look very good...and would bring out your natural eye and hair color...

you should use light colors (or sparkly)

and a light pink, dark pink, or (almost) skin color lip gloss (NOT LIPSTICK)

it will make your eyes look wider and make you look VERY tan

Go for Queen's Collection 1-Kit Shadows in Fire It Up, Sun City or Champagne. And line them with CG Queen's Collection Eye Liner in Black Onyx or Charcoal.
This question's answer depends on your skin color. My eyes are blue and my makeup consultant tells me to use other shades of blue, gold and a LIGHT mocha. This year for spring allure stated in their fashion show that shining silvers and golds are a MUST this spring, very flashy if you ask me.
    .
sparkly brown/maroon can make green eyes pop!
Usually blue, pink and purple work 4 all eye colors, but it depends on wut ur wearing too!!!
depends if its for the evenin or day

evenin go for dark black dark brown etc

it also depends on the eye socket etc
I usually wear a shimmery gold or soft pink with black liner... it really makes them pop

    What color of eye shadow....?

What colors of eye shadow goes best with brown eyes and light skin I would also like to know what color of eyeliner goes best with my eye colorWhat color of eye shadow....?
I think dark brown or black eyeliner is a must no matter what color the eyes are just cuz it makes ur eyes pop, lol. But if you have brown eyes I would say a beige or golden color eye shadow for your eyes. What color of eye shadow....?
I have brown eyes and I like :

Blue and golds/browns - best, they make my eyes just POP. I really like golds at the moment.

Purples and pinks - not so much ... looks like I have a bruise or pink eye - not cute!

Greens - look best when you do a smokey eye with darker greens

As far as eyeliner goes ... I dont wear eyeliner

Try using the darkest shade you use on your lids as a liner

Use a thin brush and smudge it along the lower last line
I have the same problem. I usually just use a velvet or midnight black eye liner...but the cool thing about brown eyes is you can just wear what ever color and it will look great..and you can match it to your outfits. On the eye shadow part i would say you can go a bit darker then your skin tone with that but don't go to much lighter unless its on ur brow line.I usually go skin tone on the lid, darker in the crease, light under the brow line and a smoky, darker color on the edge and or corner of your eye.
ok for brown eyes and light skin...what color hair do you have?

    light-

you should go with pale pinks and not a lot..simple would be best

    dark-

natural colors, like browns, and tans

btw are my eyes pretty?? here they are more green usually they are more yellow...What kind of eye shadow can i use w/ these color eyes?? i'm going to a b-day party...?
if you have green eyes you should wear green or blue eyeshadowWhat kind of eye shadow can i use w/ these color eyes?? i'm going to a b-day party...?
With green eyes purple is a good choice. Also try a gold tone this will pull the green out of the eye color and make your eyes pop!
Haha you told you you can't wear eyeshadow that matches your eyes?

    I do all the time..and I like my make-up.

I think a pale green would look good..but if you don't want that then I was thinking of a hazel or just a white shimmer.
Use this Eye Make Up :-

    Electric Green Eyes

    *Preferred Age Group: under 20

    **Things to Consider...

the shade of your eyes. (This will effect how the colors work for you.)

the tools that you use to apply the shadow

how much shadow you use (the more layers, the more intense the color)

    the shape of your eyes

    your age group

    Brows:

Touch up if necessary. Fill in bare spots with shadow or pencil. Be sure to brush brows to soften color.

    Highlighter:

Pale green with a silky pearl sheen.

    Lid Shadow:

The color of your shadow should be a more intense shade of a shiny green than that used as a highlighter. Brush it onto the inner corner of the lid, and intensify as you reach the outer corner. This will make the eyes appear wider. Do the reverse if your eyes are too far apart.

    Crease:

Using a brush, work the shadow from the lid right into the highlighter.

    Liner:

To set off the green, apply a narrow line of intense black.

    Mascara:

    Black
VERY pretty eyes!!! I have green eyes, too. I usually stay away from eye shadow because it distracts from my eye color and makes it look less intense. I use two to three coats of black mascara (Clinique Long Pretty Lashes is my favorite because it makes them long and ';feathery';, not thick and clumpy)--and sometimes I'll wear some black eyeliner on the bottom. If I do wear eye shadow I stick with a sheer shade. I like sheer gold shimmer (NOT glitter--SHIMMER) because it picks up the yellow in my eyes and I really like purple (blue-based purple if you look better in cool shades, red-based purple if you look better in warm shades). Purple makes green eyes really ';pop';, but don't overdo it.
you should wear purple eyeshadow because it will bring out the green in your eyes. Your eyes will definately pop more against an opposite color than a similar color like green or blue.

and yes I think your eyes are very pretty, i wish i had green eyes!
actually, I read that if you have pale skin you should wear pink; if you have medium skin wear lavender, if you have skin like JLo's wear green, and dark wear peach.
I think if you just use a little eyeliner in light green and black mascara that s all you need.
i think you should skip eyeshadow and use brown eyeliner on the bottom inside rim of your eyes i have blue-green eyes and do this all the time - and i always get compliments - it would look really good on your eyes! but dont poke yourself in the eyes and use an eyeliner that smudges easily!
green is in fact ok! belive it ok not. with your color eyes a gold is very pretty and brown for the creases of your eye followed by a light light color for the brow. you can also try a a clear gloss for the lips to keep a natural look this will sure turn heads and your eyes to stand out! oh and i wouldn't recommend you using a black mascara try brown. see ya hope you like
i have green eyes too...i love wearing a light pink w. eyeliner at the top and bottom of my lids...also with a white or pale color at the top...you could also try a color that matches the clothes you maybe wearing or thats really natural like a baige w. gray out linig instead of liner...its just what your most comfortle w.

also try wetting your eyeshadow brush just a little before putting the shadow on the brush...when you apply it this way it makes the make up last/stick longer and look shiny like rite out of a magazine!!

    hope this helps
