Because you have a neutral colored eye, you can wear literally almost any eye shadow you fancy.
I normally wear black eyeliner and mascara all the time, but for you, how about a gray or steel color shadow, with a black or charcoal gray liner? That would look lovely.
Soft cool colors would look nice also.
Im a little old school so im firm on the black eyeliner and mascara. (i also have black hair and brown eyes) compliments the brown. as far as eye shadow i like light blue or a soft pink my favorite is cream or tan. with a bronze color.

I think either a plummy purple or a camouflage/forest green would be a good eyeshadow. For eyeliner and mascara I would try a brown/black color and line the bottom with a pencil/crayon type liner, and the top with a liquid liner. Good luck.
