I personally think eyeliner on the bottom isn鈥檛 a good look. But that鈥檚 just me... It definitely makes eyes look smaller too. Anyway just play around a little, see what looks best on you. I usually wear black liner on top, and just a tiny on the outer bottom corners (that sounds awful lol but I鈥檓 not good at explaining it). Make sure you blend it, and add a eyeshadow that complements your eyes. I think the key is just messing around with it. find what looks best on YOU, because as we all know the same things don't look good on everyone.

you should wear neutral tones eyeshadow. and find a liner that is neutral as well. lining the bottom is mostly done for evening events. you don't need a lot on the bottom to make a statement.

I use Mary Kay. The colors I use are hazelnut, vintage gold and moonstone. They really pop the blue out in my eyes. For eyeliner, I use the vintage gold in a line above and below my lashes, lightly smudge with the brush. If I want extra, I put a line of black in the inside of my lid. Before Mary Kay, I used black or blue eyeliner above and below my lashes, but it isn't necessary with these colors. Check them out, it is great! I can't believe how much bluer my eyes look wearing it! Copper eyeshadows look good if you have brown hair and blue eyes. Eyeliner depends on the shape of your eyes, but eyeliner on the top is usually enough.
deppends on what color your wearing... and i put eyeline on bottom... thats just me.
i prefer neutrals-tans and browns or charcoals. liner on the bottom looks freaky to me. top only and mabye 1/3 of the way in on the bottom!
You should wear lavender or green ishadow. Wear your eye liner on the top and a little on the bottom.

i think you should wear black eyeliner on top and bottom only if you have big eyes. if you have small eyes only do top but a little thin line cuz if you do both it just makes them look smaller and about the eye shadow go with something light but not too light.

The general rule is that light shades bring out your eyes, darker shades give them dimension. If you have small eyes and want to give the impression of larger eyes, you want to stay with lighter shades. If you have large eyes or protruding eyes, you would want to use darker shades. To prevent shadow from creasing, put foundation on your lids first, then powder. This gives you a clean canvas for your colorations.
The first step of applying eyeshadow is to apply a light color over your entire eye lid from lash line to brow. Use a large flat eyeshadow brush. Always use good quality brushes.
The second step is to apply a medium shadow color on your lower lid from lash line to the crease of your eye. Use a fluff brush.

You should probably use like a really pretty beige. Try using ';Nylon'; from MAC. It's a really pretty shimmery color and it'll look great on you. If you don;t know how to apply your eyeshadow then try looking at these videos. It's a girl and she actually shows you how to put on makeup. She has lots of videos so you kind of have to look around for the right one.

If you are feeling experimental, some colors to try that would really make your eyes pop are those in the purple, and green family.

For my senior prom I used this method (before that I didn't know how)...
Since you already have pink and black...
Things you'll need:
1. Black eyeliner (waterproof is better - Clarins)
2. Lightest eyeshadow (silver or silvery pink)
3. Medium eyeshadow (gray)
4. Dark eyeshadow (black)
5. Mascara (Clinique high definition lashes...half of it is a comb!)
1. Line top and bottom of the eye w/ eyeliner.
2. Put the pink or silver color nearest to your eyelashes.
3. Put the gray color on your crease (the majority of it).
4. Put the black shadow in the corner of your eye. Blend towards the center of your eye.
5. Apply one light coat of mascara w/ the non-comb side.
6. Wait a while (you can put on blush during this time), then put another coat of mascara with the comb so that it doesn't get clumpy.

I have red hair and hazel eyes, so I think I can speak pretty confidently from experience. :)
Earth tones and neutral tones always look fabulous with hazel eyes. red-toned browns, bronzy golden shades, taupes, cranberry shades, and greens all look really lovely on hazel eyes.
Purples actually look really nice too. They bring out the green.

NOT ANY BLUE, for sure. All you will see is blue shadow, and a blue dress, especially with your coloring. Use a silvery-gray shadow and a gray pencil to define your eyes...Have a wonderful time, too!

As you move up toward your eye brows the eye shadow should get lighter. There should be three different shades, not counting bledend colors. Get your eye shadow ready! Get out a deeper royal blue, and a light powder blue. Get 2 Q-tips out. First start at the bottom (closer to the eye). Make sure the blue stretches across the whole bottom part of the eye lid. Wear a darker, deeper royal blue.
Then the next side of the Q-tip, for the middle mix the royal blue with the light blue. You should get a mixed color. Then you apply it above the dark blue shadow. Next you take another Q-tip and apply the light powder blue.
Next if you see this looks like you applied a little too much, take a tissue and blot, but do not blend colors, also do not make the shadow go off out of the eye lid.
Now what you just did was brought out your beautiful eyes. To add extra affect, you can add a little mascara. You can wear this every day. But if you feel like changing it up a bit, thats fine too. Hope I helped :)

Don't get carried away with lip sticks ether. Light pink, peach or bronze lip GLOSS will give you a completed look but not to much to distract you from the natural beauty. You can use lip infusing (plumping) glosses to give them a pouty look.

Even though it's discontinued, I would contact the company and see if they have a similar (or the same color) and are marketing it under a different name. Eyeliner: Black, but I am going to switch over to a brownish red to accent my eye color soon.

Foundation: Pale with yellow/orange undertones.
Blush: A really pretty peach just a few shades... peachier than my face.

Not many people can pull those off. And dark black eye liner, is ok but its becoming a thing of the past...But it depends how you pair the eye liner with the eyeshadow. It can look good with a violet or even pink. But a heavy load of black eye liner looks rather disgusting (not saying you do that).
My own personal belief is that the more natural looking the make up, the better you look. I agree with your pro make up brushes, its a must have.

Choose eyeshadows that contrast with your natural eye color. For your blue eyes, copper, icy pink, lilac, silver or gold would be the best choice. White eyeliner on your inner rims brightens up your eyes and makes them look bigger. Dot a bit of shimmery shadow on your inner corners to brighten up your eyes. Dab a BIT of petroleum jelly just under your brow bones to brighten up your entire eye area. When you do wear smokey eyes, keep the rest of your makeup natural so you don't look too made-up (clear lip gloss and nix the blush and foundation). Try a colored mascara and eyeliner, which will draw attention right to your pretty eyes. .Curl your lashes then coat them with clear mascara to list and seperate without looking phony.
Avoid blue shadow which generally doesn't go good with blue eyes. Avoid lining your inner rims which will make eyes appear smaller. Take some time to make your brows look good. Good brows open up and improve the appearance of the entire eye area.
i also have blue eyes. i would go with something neutral. like browns and tans. use a tan-skin tone color on the lid and a more brown shade in the crease. use a dark brown liquid liner on the top lash line, and a brown pencil liner on the water line. i would take a little of the crease color and apply on the outer half of you lower lash line. curl your lashes, and use a dark brown mascara (cg lash blast is great). a bronzing blush would look nice and a pink gloss. :D

Yes, it is bad. Make up is supposed to be something personal. You can get an infection sharing them. Eyeliner and mascara is shared with somebody can give you a really bad pink eye because of the bacterias. Other kind of make up is also bad to be shared except for the foundation if used with a different sponge. This is because people tend to have bacterias that don't belong to your body. Studies conducted on make up available in departmente stores show that they can even have E. coli, bacteria found in poop. So I would recommend you to have your own make up and your friend too.

Eyeliner and mascara is shared with somebody can give you a really bad pink eye because of the bacterias. Other kind of make up is also bad to be shared except for the foundation if used with a different sponge. This is because people tend to have bacterias that don't belong to your body. Studies conducted on make up available in departmente stores show that they can even have E. coli, bacteria found in poop. So I would recommend you to have your own make up and your friend too.

Get out a deeper royal blue, and a light powder blue. Get 2 Q-tips out. First start at the bottom (closer to the eye). Make sure the blue stretches across the whole bottom part of the eye lid. Wear a darker, deeper royal blue.
Then the next side of the Q-tip, for the middle mix the royal blue with the light blue. You should get a mixed color. Then you apply it above the dark blue shadow. Next you take another Q-tip and apply the light powder blue.
Next if you see this looks like you applied a little too much, take a tissue and blot, but do not blend colors, also do not make the shadow go off out of the eye lid.
Now what you just did was brought out your beautiful eyes. To add extra affect, you can add a little mascara. You can wear this every day. But if you feel like changing it up a bit, thats fine too. Hope I helped :)

I'm really a firm believer in that your hair color and eye color are not the determinants of what colors you can wear and which ones you cannot. It is more about what you're comfortable and confidant in, because those attributes will show!
Greens always go well with hazel eyes, especially olive ones. You can also try warmer, golden colors to keep up with the warmth of your hair. When in doubt or experimenting with a new color, go soft rather than bold. Browns and neutrals are universal colors that are awesome on anyone, so those are great fall-back alternatives, too.

I have brown hair,bright green eyes,tall ( 5'8';), and need something for a circle/ oval shaped face... oh I have beige skin but not really tan or really light its in the middle..What color eye shadow?

a trio eyeshadow palette called ';dolly mixture'; from collection 2000, really nice, colors are light purple, pink and white, all sparkly and shimmery. the palette has been discontinued, can't get it in shops anymore but they are for sale on ebay, if your interested, this palette is also cheap and cheerful.What is your Fav eye shadow?
I'm with you on that, it is so much more interesting and makes people notice more to wear different make up and not the same old same old every day!
I do really like metallic or shimmery ones though, gold and greyish tones are a favourite. MAC has lots of great colours and there are also a few lancome ones I really like.

Greyish blue, really light.
People tell me I look like I'm wearing that color when I'm not wearing any, so it looks almost natural on me.
I didn't even know that you could look like you were wearing eyeshadow without wearing any, lmao.
I like bright blue also, and light purple.
I wear sparkly black eyeshadow a lot.

Dark purple typically. It compliments my eye color and makes my eyes look really big.
