One thing to evaluate is your skin type, specifically whether you have oily skin because I've found that liquid shadow doesn't seem to last as long. The other thing, depending on where you live, the humidity can affect the length of time that liquid shadow lasts as well as if it migrates to your crease. I find, in general, that powder lasts longer on skin and you'll get a better color payoff, which will better on tan skin.Is liquid eye shadow better for tan skin?
liquid eye shadows don't last long and in this hot weather it will be a drama!
it will end up greasy and smudging your eye lid,,,
the powder eye shadow is way better, and for dark brown eye (like mine) you will look lovely in green,hazel, amber, dark grey shadows,,
For tan skin I would go with medium colors like blue and gree. Powder is better than liquid because it maintains the color much better.
