it depends on the occassion and its different for everyone depending on the eye shape...Whats the right way to apply eye shadow??
the most common thing to do these days is to have 3 or 4 shades. a medium colour all over the lid. a dark colour on the crease, a light colour above the crease, a medium to dark colour between the outer corner of the eye and the end of the brow bone. also a very light colour underneath the brow.
Apply lightest shade first from the inner eye to the middle, then the darker tone blending inwards from the outer corner. Try shades of brown for a natural look or grey and black for a more dramatic look.

Well it depends on the person, the occasion, and the look you want.





Personally I like putting a medium shade on the lid, a light shade underneath the eyebrow, and a dark shade between the eyelash and the lid.
