Is it bad to share eye shadow,eye liner etc.?

me and my friend share those things and i was just wondering if it is bad to share themIs it bad to share eye shadow,eye liner etc.?

Always make sure that if the make-up belongs to someone who wore make-up while they had pink eye etc. DON'T USE IT!


Otherwise it shouldn't mess you up but never share eyeliner mascara is OK as long *** they weren't like sick when they wore it.

Yes, it is bad. Make up is supposed to be something personal. You can get an infection sharing them. Eyeliner and mascara is shared with somebody can give you a really bad pink eye because of the bacterias. Other kind of make up is also bad to be shared except for the foundation if used with a different sponge. This is because people tend to have bacterias that don't belong to your body. Studies conducted on make up available in departmente stores show that they can even have E. coli, bacteria found in poop. So I would recommend you to have your own make up and your friend too.

No, but make sure to cleane the brush if ur sharing the brush... if not take another brush for eachother... but using the powder isnt..

yes very bad. you can easily get nasty eye infections such as pink eye and herpes keratitis even if your friend doesn't seem to have anything. not worth it.
yeahhh i got pink eye, about 2 years ago from sharing mascara.
yeah I recentally used some of my moms eyeliner and I didn't know that she had a eye infection and I got it like the next day because of it.....now I'll listen to her when she tells me not to use other peoples makeup! LOL =)
eye shadow, not really. but eye-liner, you can get bumps and infections under your eye. that's not pretty.

yeah, thats pretty bad. you can transfer eye infections and diseases and gross stuff like that. sorry. eye shadow might be okay though, but dont take my word for it.
eye shadow not as bad to share but eye liner it actually sometimes touches your eye its really not good because somebody could have an infection and not no it and pass it around so i really recommened not doing it because i got pink i from my friends eyeliner and it didnt feel or look to well for about to weeks!
I don't know about eye shadow, but my friend got really bad pink eye from her other friend using her eye liner.
Yes, using others makeup can give you zits, infections etc. I've done it before and didn't have any good results with it. If this does happen, rub a bit of toothpaste on your face and let it set for a few hours.
