I don't want to wear crazy color eyeshadows to my work. Are there any neutral eye shadows that would make my blue eyes pop?
I find that darker colors contrast with lighter eyes, creating the ';popping'; effect. Try a smoky gray or brown. Are there any neutral eye shadows that would make my blue eyes pop?
bronze and gold and brown look good with blue.
anything with shimmer looks great! try just a very light tan color or even a white one.
Try using just one color from those eye color booster eyeshadow packs. (I'm not sure which brand it is...Loreal or Maybelline, you can get them at Target and Walmart.) My suggestion would be to use the lightest shade of brown available from one of those.
Otherwise you can use your own light brown shadow, and instead of just doing the upperlid, also put a thin line under a quarter (and on the outside) of your lowerlid.
I think bronze will work,or maybe silver.(:
a smokey charcoal
They have some great colors at mioneral girlz. I love Latte and pewter.
Actually - shades of brown will make your blue eyes pop because of the contrast.
Browns will make your eyes pop. You can get more tips at http://marykay.com/micheleleahjones
try a soft eye liner
Silver.I have blue eyes also,so I wear silver. It looks very elegant on blue eyed girls like me and you.=)
Hope Ya Use My Advice,
Ashelyn.
any shade of brown will bring out the blue in your eyes.

I have green eyes. What color eye shadow looks best? green, blue, or smokey brown?
just don't dye your hair red... hubby won't know whether to Stop or Go?I have green eyes. What color eye shadow looks best? green, blue, or smokey brown?
green or brown and now they have eye shadows available to enhance your eye color, so u dont even have to figure out what color to put , they are just made for green eyes or blue eyes or brown eyes Report Abuse
I have green eyes. What color eye shadow looks best? green, blue, or smokey brown?
Smokey brown, but I have green eyes and what really makes them pop, is reddish pink eye shadows lighter towards your inner eye and darker towards your outer eye, also purple-y colors. Something I really recommend Purple, steel, and copper colored eyeliners, lining the upper and lower rim of your eyes top off with a swipe of black, or dark brown mascara and your eyes should POP!
It depends on your skin tone! I have yellowish undertones and prefer brown eyeshadow with my green eyes.
Hi! I have green eyes too. The best is moss green, violet, and ginger. See ya!
smokey brown!
A NICE SOFT BROWN , WILL LOOK COOL
definately BROWN%26gt; i have green eyes
Purpley pinks are what is gonna make your eyes stand out the most, I have green eyes and when I wear those colors I constantly get compliments on them.
Definitely the smoky brown. It'd give you a very mysterious look for your eyes.
If the eyes are looking up from a satin pillow, you will never hear anything about eye shadow color...
oOoO, i love green eyes, i have them. Smokey colors def!
NOT green, it just dulls ur green eyes,
blue is okay, but be gentle, not too much, make it subtle, like a navy or hazel
but brownish-black is the best from my experience, add a little shimmer too
;) hope i helped!
I have green eyes too and i found that the colors that really bring out my eyes and make them bright are green, gold, and purple eye shadow and insted of using black eyeliner, try gray. Also, when putting on your eyeshadow, if you want to try say green, put light green shadow on more of the inside of your eyelid and then darker green shadow on more of the corner. that will ma\ke your eyes seem larger.
Probably brown because since it's dark, it makes your green eyes stand out.
earthy tones
Purple is supposed to make green look brighter. I also like to use brown with green.
I think u should put on blue because it make your eyes stand out
and you'll be a major hottie when everyones sees you !
Have you ever tried purple/lavender? I think that because green and purple are complementary colors, (they are directly opposite each other on the color wheel) that they look very nice together!

green or blue or any thing earthy and light
reddish browns would look good
I think smokey brown or white will look great on ya..
Actually plums or violets look the best on green eyes.

Easy ten points eye shadow question?
my eyes turn green when im sad i was wondering if i could get the right kind of eye shadow to make my eyes green if so what colors please be specific and what are good colors for brown be specific ??Easy ten points eye shadow question?
For green eyes: brown, natural gold and other fall colored eye shadows will make your eyes POP! It works great! The green will be accentuated by the brown shadow, looks beautiful. Also for brown eyes, use lighter nude or pink colors, still fall colors. It is nicely done with shades of brown, gold, and pink.Easy ten points eye shadow question?
Purple is a great color for green eyes! It really makes them pop!! I'd stay away from blue eyeshadows...stick more with purple or pink. You can even use brown or goldish tints.
For brown eyes use gold/bronze colors and green eyeshadow.
I hope this helps!
for blues wear brown or silver
for green wear lilac or pink
and for hazel and brown anything as you are lucky and suit anything
pale whites and creams suit any colour
hope i helped

I'm doing my sisters makeup for prom and am confused on what brand of eye shadow to buy with that color that would have good color pay off, it is her special day and all. PLEASE help! thanksMint green color eye shadow? 10pts BEST answer! =)?
*stila smoky eye palette in emerald is your best bet. It's not mint green per se, but mint green is out of style right now, so a softer emerald shade like in this palette is a good choice.
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>
if thats too expensive sephora pearl shadow is only $10.
they have some pretty greens.

Try the brad Maximum Lovely for pure bueary. the minty colors are great peperment spred is my fav with that make up she will be sure to win prom queen and be the center of attetion
tell me how it goes

It is called Peppermint Patty loose mineral eyeshadow from Bee Luscious and this is the look from Sirvinya on You Tube.
I'm not really sure, but try paying a visit to a Sephora store. They have a ton of stuff, and I'm sure you could find something there!
try MAC products at nordstrom.they are very helpful and will find the right shade

What are some really good eye shadows?
I love eyeshadow but I wanna know what ones are good, so please answer. Links help. And ThanksWhat are some really good eye shadows?
I personally own alot of M.A.C because they have both natural colors and things like neon orange haha .. they're a good quality eyeshadow that lasts a long time .. i've had some eyeshadows for yearsss and the bright side is that 6 empty containers can be redeemed at the store for a free lipstick !!
also a trick to keep your eyeshadow on and set is using a primer.
i've been using MAC's beige-ing stick ... its even good on its own !!What are some really good eye shadows?
MAC has really nice eye shadows that stay for a long time. They go on smooth and don't irritate. But a less expensive alternative that works really nicely is HIP by L'Oreal Paris. And on the plus side, HIP has a built in mirror.
Go to a Mac counter and let them do your eyes for free. They have some great products and give you the look you want, draw it out so if you have other products to use, you can also use them.
if you are looking for good, inexpensive eye shadows, i recommend true color by avon.
if you want brightness and just any color and pigment and an eyeshadow that will last, MAC Cosmetics, best eyeshadows hand down
=]
Mac has good eye shadows.
Really pigmented ones would be coastal scents.
Nyx has pretty good ones too
Bobbi Brown is really great.
i have the shimmer block.
it works great and stays on really long (if you dont touch it)
MAC or Bee Luscious. It will depend on color choice but overall I would say Bee Luscious edges out MAC by a hair.

I have pale skin, brown eyes and hair. what colour eye shadow would suit me best?
Apparently, olive/emerald green is the new brown, which is unfortunate for me cos I always wear brown! I think greens would suit you, but don't lay it on too thick - less is more. And now that we're heading towards summer, why not try bronzes and peaches - they would suit you too. You should experiment with a few colours and see what you like best.I have pale skin, brown eyes and hair. what colour eye shadow would suit me best?
well you can use silver or gold if you are going out some where but make sure not to over do it!
or light blue turquoise if you are just going for lunch with some friends!I have pale skin, brown eyes and hair. what colour eye shadow would suit me best?
I would say green or lilac. Since ppl with brown hair generally suit those colours and it will really open up your eyes and face. But be careful that you don't go for too bright a green or it might look silly.
I would recommend using either Barry M makeup or the new Body Shhop eyeshadow range which has come out because they do some nice shades.
purple
Without seeing you?
I would say use a black eyeliner, then a line of black eye shadow and blend and finish with a light shimmer pink.
Go your local MAC counter, they LOVE helping people learn about blending eye shadow!
really light purple, slate grey, and cream don't go for really bright colours if your really pale because they will wash your completion out and make u look ill
I have pale skin, brown eyes and hair too. I usually like to wear a light brown or pink eye shadow. I get a lot of compliments when I wear brown eye liner with brown eye shadow on my lids.
green
yellow eye shadow same thing dat i use and i ave the same description as u said about ur self and plus using yellow eye shadow cream is much better and it wont come off just like dat and it wont luk stupid and best of all it is easy to come off just use a baby wipe and if u use orange eye shadow cream and blend it in wid the yellow eye shadow cream it makes a great effect on your eyes
Depends what shade of brown your eyes are.
If their a light brown I'd say to use a medium brown eyeshadow, darker on the inner corners and then getting lighter outwards.
If their a dark brown like mine (you can barely see my pupil) purple has always worked good for me.
i'd go for gold if u have shunkissed hair etc then this will make it shmmer i think, or try some thing else neutral

Dramatic eye shadow for blue eyes?
hi. i was wondering what color would look good with my blue eyes.
also, can you give me tips for making it look smooth?
thanks!!! : )Dramatic eye shadow for blue eyes?
dont put it on too thick and blend aroudn the edges into your skin so it fades off. also as a personnal opinion i think white, green, blue, purple and silver look good with blue eyes..if you want a coulour to stand out id use bright red or black ^^Dramatic eye shadow for blue eyes?
I have blue eyes and find golds and browns really play them up.
I do this before a night out:
I put a base colour of beige on my lids and into my eye sockets.
Then a little bit of a shimmery goldy colour shadow on the lids and a little under the eyes.
Then I apply a thick line of gold eyeliner to the top lid.
The apply a load of mascara, 2-3 coats should do.
Turns out amazing and I always get complimented about this look when I do it!

Not pitch black.
I think you should try silver, charcoal, purple, and brown.
Black, silver or dark blue - to contrast and make your blues eyes even brighter.

Not pitch black.
I think you should try silver, charcoal, purple, and brown.
Black, silver or dark blue - to contrast and make your blues eyes even brighter.

I have no clue on eye shadow help me!?
Hi,
Okay I have black, blue, and silver whiteish eye shadow but I have no clue on wearing eye shadow to make it look good on me can you help? The only make up I wear is eye liner that I barely started using 2 days agoI have no clue on eye shadow help me!?
First, you put the silverish whitish eye shadow on your entire eyelid from the lash line to the brow bone.
Then, you put the blue eye shadow on just the part of the eye lid that opens and closes.
Finally, you put the black eyeshadow in the crease of your eye lid which is the part that is tucked in. It is in-between your brow bone and the eyelid part that opens and closes.
Blend the black eyeshadow in your crease area very well. You can also use that black eyeshadow for under your eyes by applying it under your bottom eyelashes from the outer eye to the middle part.
This will give you the smokey sexy look for your eyes.I have no clue on eye shadow help me!?
ok well you want to put the deeper eye shadow on the lower part of upper eyelid to make your eyes look big and nice so for that, you could use the color blue-ish black. apply the blue after the black. Then you would want to apply a lighter color on the upper part of eyelid to make a softer texture for your eyes. for that, you can choose the silvery white, and there you go. you'll look absoultely adorable!
If ur blue eye shadow is light then wear it with the silver, if its dark, wear it with the blue :D
On the botton section of ur eyelid you have to but the darker colour and on the top the lighter colour and make it look like its going from blue to silver (or any other colours)
it's kinda hard to explain, but when using eye shadow, if it's a dark color, you want to put it on the outside of your eye.
here is a great website with diagrams on how to do different techniques:

Foundation and eye shadow?
what is the best liquid foundation for dry sensitive skin? also im looking for an eye shadow with absolutely no shimmer. i was told that the ingredient 'mica' that is in eye shadow is what makes the shimmer and to go for on with a matte finish but i can't find one that doesn't have mica in it. my eyes and skin are really sensitive. any one have any suggestions?Foundation and eye shadow?
You need to invest in a good moisturizer, and a primer. If your skin is very sensitive, I don't suggest using a liquid foundation- try a powder foundation like Bare Minerals. Try sephora.com, they usually have great deals.Foundation and eye shadow?
Hi Chugar,
I have sensitive skin too. I use Cover-Girl Tru Blend Liquid makeup. It's the best liquid foundation I've ever used. Your skin will look perfect and feel good. Bare Minerals, Clinique, Neutrogena and Almay have excellent makeup for people with sensitive skin and eyes. For matte eye shadow try Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte. Hope this helps! :)
MINERALIZE SATINFINISH SPF 15 FOUNDATION by MAC.
MAC has matte eyeshadow you have to go to the MAC store or counter, and ask about the matte texture of their eyeshadows.
Hope that helped.
Good Luck.
Good bye.
they sell a very good Matte pallet online....they r great http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/鈥?/a>

What color eye shadow? easy ten points?
im pretty tan i have black hair and most brown eye shadow doesnt show up on me and if you have any more make up advice on things like eyeliner mascara etc that would help ten points on most helpfulWhat color eye shadow? easy ten points?
we have the same problem me too have a tan color, the colors that i usually use are green, blue, gold, orange, pink put a lighter eyeshadow because when putting on thick eyeshadow can cause you to look old
in mascara i use nichido because it really lasts for a long time sometimes i only put blush on and then hid my eyes with Fendi Sunglasses
this trick helps me to look simple
just always remember in putting make up just put light ones it loks more glamorousWhat color eye shadow? easy ten points?
im a pretty tan too
even though im not allowed to wear makeup i try on my moms at home when im just with my bros xD
what i do is i put brown eyeshadow then on top of it i put whatever color i feel like at the time. like purple, it looks so pretty. but dont put eyeliner cuz it doesnt look very nice.
as for mascara i like when its volumized. and it looks so nice with the eyeshadow i try on.
sorry if i didnt help but i hope i did.
Avoid flat browns. They will make your eyes look smaller and sunken. Instead, use a brown with some shimmer and highlight with a lighter color such as cream or light gold. you can use browns, blues, greens, purples, rosy pinks and some shades of orange.
If your eyes are dark;try wearing mascara.Neautral eyeshadow.
Do you have full lips or medium lips? I find with dark hair and eyes a nice berry lipgloss or a true reddish lipsstick looks so good.
Remember the trick. If you are playing up the eyes wear a nude lipgloss. If playing up the lips, wear just mascara.
For dark eyes,I would go bold!! Try a plum, burgundy mixed with a dark brown undertone. Also a navy or gold. Also try a sexy cat-eye look! Use a black, liquid eyeliner and outline the top, outer eye area and use a fine stroke on the outer corners of your eyes. For another sexy look, try a smokey look.
You can always go on Youtube and type in eye makeup. There you should find tons of tips!!!
for eyeshadow you shoudl probly go with a green or blue color, it doesnt have to be really bright, but just enough to see. For eyeliner you could go with a gray or blue and they even have blue mascara too! hope this helped%26lt;3
colorful eyeshadows !
you would look good with bright colors !
they will really make your eyes pop !
i would recomend blues and pinks !
once you go black you never go back. also white looks awsome on tan skin it really brings out dark eyes. try a plain white from brow bone to eye lid then a shimmery white on eyelid. short and sweet and to the pointt :]
For dark eyes, they say to wear purples, and blue eyeliner really pops. Personally i hate the thought of purple eyeshadow, and so what i find works best is a really pearl-type eyeshadow on the lid, like MAC's woodwinked ( i have dark hair and eyes too...) And a little bit of smokey grey in the outside corners (like MACs knight divine), and always wear a white/light pink shadow directly under your eyebrows. you dont have to buy mac, but you can go try them on for free in a local MAC shop and see if you like the colors then shop at walmart or something to see if you can find it cheaper in the same kind of shades.
An eye shadow brush can really make the difference too. not the kind that looks like its tear shaped and foam, but a kind that looks like an actual paint brush.
For mascara, always put it on last after you put on the shadow, that way you dont have flakes or dust in your eyelashes. I buy black mascara just because it makes my eyes pop.
And instead of wearing eyeliner on the inside of your lids, try buying a black shadow with sparkle (Again, i would reccomend MAC, black tied) and use and angle brush or even a lip liner brush to brush it across the tops of your eye lids right above your eyelashes. it will make them look fuller too.
Here is a tutorial for the 'kim Kardashian' look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42brYe2bu鈥?/a>
I think you've got the perfect coloring to try black eyeshadow. A smoky eye look is way hot and on darker skintones it usually dones't look as harsh as it can on lighter skintones. Do a search for ';smoky eye tutorial'; and you will find tons of instructions.
If you're trying for something not so dramatic, a nice champagne color would show up on your skin and highlight your eyes, especially if it has a little shimmer in it.
Personal favorite for eyeliner is Revlon ColorStay, it goes on smooth and does not move until you take it off.
Mascara is tough because different things work for different people. Cover Girl Volume Exact is a good one, gives you thick, dramatic lashes without nasty clumping.

Where do you wear your eye shadow??
on the eye lids, starting at the brow, where its meant to go.Where do you wear your eye shadow??
Silly question. On my ears of course!Where do you wear your eye shadow??
I don't use make-up at all other than during special occasions and I'm 17 btw.
eyelids
I wear eye shadow on my top eyelid and a little in the corner of my eye to make a little sparkle
I wear it on my eyelids and underneath my eyes. When it comes to make-up, I say anything goes!
on my eyelids sometimes i jsut do a fine line above my eyebrows other times my whole eyelid
Like everywhere 24/7 so yeah i love plus maskera
Right above my eye lashes on my eye lid but not too close to my eyebrow. Too much eyeshadow looks like you are stuck in the 1980's.
i put some earthy-color shadow on the bone juuust directly above the crease, sweep it on paralell 2 the crease..a difrent color thats dark (but matches) into the crease area....then in the space left below, any soft color that matches, like a rosy-pink. Lastly brush the entire lid softly so that the colors merge.
Voi-laaaa!! It'll look expertly done (use more natural matchy-matchy colors for a subtle day-look, and slightly more dramatic for nite)
=)
On my azz cheeks.
on my eyes
i wear it everyday
both of your eye lids!
Over the entire upper and lower lid area.
over your eye leaids
i dont
eyeliner is much better
Your nose.
Where do you think??
Your eye lid. Hence EYE shadow...
on my butt.
On our eye lids....and i wear mine under to..
if you get an alamay eye shadow it shows you where to put it theres 3 sections on your eyelid, right above the eyelid, and right underneath your eyebrow it usually goes from dark to light but thats what i wear it looks really cute to!
There should be a crease in your eyelids. Put it on starting at your eyelashes and go only to the crease. It looks bad if you cover your whole eyelid.
On my eyelids and under my eyebrows.
I wear it right above my eyelashes..i use a brush to smudge it...no straight lines that too 80's! and brush some right under your eyelashes on the bottom... I also like to put a lighter color in the corners! Looks real SeXy!
on my armpits?
well where you want it is to put a light highlighted eyeshadow under the brow and then a darker color on the crease then a darker color than that on the lid, thats to make your eyes pop. if you have blue, use browns, green it can go either purples or browns and brown eyes you can do ALMOST anything but yet again id say brown :)
um ok, usually i put a light coat on the lid and up to the eyebrow (sort of like a base coat) and then on the lower eyelid i put the darker color i want to stand out. usually i use two colors, but i bought this pallete that has four which you put on together, it's called sunlit bronze or something.
ok first u rub the clothy part of the lil thingy on the eyeshadow then u rub that on ur eyelids.
ps to other answerers, who ever is asking this question is clearly new at make up and such. theres no need for an attitude when answereing!

I Need Eye Shadow Help?
As I've gotten older, my once prominent eyes are becoming more hooded. If I put a med/darker color on the hooded area to recede it, I look cheaply made up. I'm not sure how to apply eye shadow anymore. Any suggestions?I Need Eye Shadow Help?
first...stay away from frost/shimmer, it will only bring it out more. Apply one nude/nutral color all over the lid, then with one or teo shades darker, do the shaping,,from the corner to the center of the eye. If you try to put color on the lid, it will only draw attention...If you do a serch on applying eye shadow, you'll find a few places that adress your(our) problem...yes we are swimming in the same boat...I have found that I can not wear as much as I did 5 years ago... Besides you knw they say... Less is more...it really is.I Need Eye Shadow Help?
before you apply your eyeshadow, make sure that the eye liner on you top lid is as close as possible to the lash line. Also make sure that the eyeliner on your bottom line is not on the actual line under your eye but just under it. So don't pull the skin under your eye lid down when you apply it, instead, aim along your lash line. Also, to make your eyes look larger, you might want to make the line on the edges of your bottom Iash line darker. I would stay away from covering your entire eyelid in pastel colours such as baby blues, light greens and lilacs as they will make your eyes look smaller. Instead choose a darker colour ( sorbet colours are always good) for along the parts closest to your lash line, then use the same colour in a lighter shade and gradually make it lighter, as you move upwards towards your eye brows. Be sure to finish your look with at least two coats of mascara on your top and bottom lashes.
first...stay away from frost/shimmer, it will only bring it out more.

What eye shadow color?
What eye shadow color would look best on me? I have medium brown hair, brown eyes, and light skin. Thanks!!!What eye shadow color?
you should try light colors in shade of brown thats the color of your eyes in morning time and for evening time you can always go with darker shades like dark greenish color if you apply it in smoky style. As your skin color is light you can wear light blue, pink, even u can go with orange that slightly dark and also golden to dramatize your look... u can have fun doing this...
Additionally you can use navy blue eye liner to highlight your eye lid and also plum color will suit you...
so go and have fun with mix and matchin of this color on your tone and see what goes on you...What eye shadow color?
Always put on the same color eye shadow as your outfit...
hmm maybe a darker color like purple or blue or maybe even a hot pink but dont use glittery ones it gets all over ur face
your skin tone is warm and golds, greens and purples would really suit you, also, try this test for more..
http://www.handbag.com/beauty/makeup/mak鈥?/a>
...hope me helped..
something that could blend with your color....maybe a hazel color or a light brown....something that can match your eyes or hair...
I'd use a light brown...You can also use a blue, but baby blue would look good too.
hope this helps
alana:)
If your eyes are brown-not light brown but brown-like mine, some of the colours that could look good on you are:
-light blue
-purple
-green
-silver grey
-and an orange hue like... the colour of the cents coins used along with euros.
hiya, id prob say either neutral colours like beige n browns, or charcoal maybe. OR blues go lush with brown eyes often. Its kinda difficlut to say without seein a pic though. best of just testing all sorts of different colours, and askin relatives or friends wat they think.
golden yellow or orange hue look great and pink will also go
Nope, the eyeshadow does not have to be the same colour as your outfit.
The colour depends on the shape and form of your eye as well as the effect you want to achieve.
White/Pearl or silver white/light pink all over for innocent, fresh look.
All greys are great for brown eyes, they make any shade of brown stick out really nicely.
Lilac-purple on medium/light brown/hazel eyes looks good.
Golden Brown
Apricot yellow-light gold.
light to medium blue. or you could stick to your more earthy tones like green, brown, and maybe copper. if it's your style maybe a bold pink.

Cream eye shadow question?
I love cream eye shadow because it looks so shimmery and nice and delicate, the only problem is, it seems to get in the crease of my eye lids, and form a line, and I'd like to know if there's a solution to get rid of this problem.Cream eye shadow question?
The creamy eye shadows are great because they are so pigmented, but they have to be set with a powder shadow. If you use a color that is close to the cream color, the shimmer will still shine through. Just use an eyeshadow sponge applicator and press the color on instead of wiping it.
I also set my eye make-up with aerosol hairspray. Close your eyes without creasing the lids and spray a quick spritz of hairspray. Keep your eyes closed for 10-15 seconds. This should help keep it in place.Cream eye shadow question?

the only suggestion that i have is to set it with a powder and it won't crease. You can either use an eyeshadow, but you said that you like the way the cream looks so i would get a translucent powder and brush it on after the cream shadow
that usually happens if you put too much
try to spread it evenly all over
or use a cotton swab (cotton tip)
to clean your crease
http://www.ehow.com/video_4408469_apply-鈥?/a>
U could use a base shadow and then put the cream shadow over it. Urban Decay has some great new cream shadows that are supposed to not crease, as well. And they have bases.
Use something like Urban decay primer potion first then the cream eyeshadow. for further staying power use a powder on top.
you'll have to use a primer

Eye shadow, Eye liner and Mascara?
okay so I want to know what kinds of eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara you've used that work well and you liked.
Thanks so muchEye shadow, Eye liner and Mascara?
Depends on how much you want to spend.
If you are willing to spend more money, I would recommend anything from MAC or Urban Decay. For eyeshadows, MAC has really good ones, that don't crease, and they are very pigmented, they are $14.50. For liner MAC has a really good mechanical liner, I think its technakohl, but I'm not sure. If you like glitter liner, Urban Decay has a good glitter liner. And for mascara, any MAC mascara. They are all pretty good, and clump free. Or you could look at Sephora, and most brands they sell have good eye stuff.
For cheaper, drugstore brands, I recommend anything CoverGirl or Maybelline, for your eyes.

i use black almay liquid eyeliner on the top lid. ive been using this product for 6 years now and i love it because its such a clean line. its hard to get used to using at first but once you get the hang of it its perfect for being precise. i use lancome pencil eyeliner for my bottom lid because its super soft and smudges well. the Maybelline mascara makes my lashes huge and long. and the Rimmel eyeliner is this pretty reddish brown colour.

Which eye shadow should I do?
i have brownish blackish eyesWhich eye shadow should I do?
http://www.makeupsense.com/eyes/eyeshado鈥?/a>Which eye shadow should I do?
for brown eyes, a light gold, neutrals work. but if you really want to play up your eyes, then go for that ';smokey'; look. it looks soo good with brown eyes!
either neutral colors, or something bright since your eyes are dark.
it really depends on your skin color type. but with brownish eyes, I would go for bronzy yellows this winter and some purple tinted browns
neutrals look good, with a medium taupe or light color on lid and darker brown in orb (crease)...also can use a really dark purply brown.. it really depends on ur eye shape
Well, I usually coordinate eyeshadow to my outfit. It just depends on the look you're going for.
Do lavenders, and light pinks.
I would say either a turquoise or a plum with a blue undertone.
Go to this website and look for the shades ';Plumage'; and ';Beauty Marked.';:
http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>
There are two things to consider when you are choosing eyeshadow colors: your eye color and your skin tone. With the right eyeshadow color your eye color will stand out.
For whatever reason people believe you should match the eye shadow to your eye color. That is wrong! What will happen is it will compete with your eye color and the eyeshadow will usually be more dominant. You don't want people to notice your eyeshadow; you want them to notice you!
Blue: Rich warm browns, warm taupes and soft peaches
Green and Hazel: Golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets.
Grey: Charcoal, cool brown and purple.
Brown: Knock yourself out...you lucky women get to wear any color you want!
With your lovely colour of eyes you would do better matching your shadows with the colour you are wearing. Green, grey or blue, with eyes your colour you can wear any colour and wear it well.
I have the same color, and go with two shades darker than my skin. For a pretty look try this. Get your light eyeshadow, like brownish, and do your eyelid. Take a shade darker, and do the crease. Line the bottom, and Voila, tres adorable. Try Pop Brown Eyes Pallete. It's amazing! Good Luck!

i don't really do b.e. shadows because they don't have the staying power i like for my eye makeup to have. i rawk napoleon perdis and nars.

wth. i cant see anything
i like MAC eye shadow(www.maccosmetics.com). its about the same price as the bare escentuals one you found too. they have a huge array of colors. If you're worried about creasing or fading throughout the day, use the eye shadow primer first ( a good one is the urban decay eyeshadow primer potion). You can find it at Sephora.
I don't see any eye-shadow on the page......
You should get a darker one or a brighter one.
I love anything by Bare Essentials.
Its light and airy.
Go for it!

Yes, I love using bare minerals.

What shade of eye shadow is best for blue eyes?????
omgoodness.
i have blue eyes.
and ANY color looks good.
i wear brown, pink, gold, green, light blue, and a white shimmery color.
all you need to do is match them up with the right eyeliners.
like brown eyeliner goes good with the pink, green, and gold.
black eyeliner goes good with all of them.
the blue eyeliner goes good with pink, white, and light blue.
and the green eyeliner goes good with pink, white, and green.
they ALL look great on me and i recieve the most compliment with the green eyeliner and the white eyeshadow together :D :D :DWhat shade of eye shadow is best for blue eyes?????
NEVER wear the same color eyeshadow as your eyes.
wear a color that makes them pop.
browns DEFINATELY do the job, and so do greys, silvers, and blacks.
NO NO NOOOO BLUE!What shade of eye shadow is best for blue eyes?????
Shimmery Goldeny/Orangish.......
Like Urban Decay ';Half Baked';, ';Sin';,';Toasted';, ';Chopper';.
I wore ';Sin'; with black liner, it makes blue POP beautifully.
i'd haave to say pastels..and metallic colors!!
you know what, I see everyone giving you colors and everything, but
I must say, my approach to make-up is not necessarily based soley on what is on your face
I think the color of your hair, your eyebrows, and maybe even your clothing, should play a determing role.
For instance, if you've got on a lot of blue and/or green, and your eyes are blue, I would say wear some blue or green to match your outfit.
I mean you can always wear neutrals, that match your skin, that goes with everything. But that can get boring...
If I were you, I'd even wear shadows that contrast with the color of your eyes to add drama, or experiment, like with some pretty light shades of purple, or something.
Just try it, you might find for yourself some striking results.
pink
Browns, greens, taupes and lavender. Just don't go blue!
The Almay Line really helps, but it all depends on the color of your skintone and the deepness of the blue in yer eyes
Try
- http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyesl鈥?/a>
Well makeup is an artform, so think back to art class. The color wheel. Orange is opposite blue on the color wheel. So orange shades, like coppers and golds, will contrast the most with your eyes, bringing them out. Greens are also good. as well as lavenders. Mixes like golden olive tones are great too. I all depends on your shade of blue as well. You CAN use blue eyeshadow, youj ust need a shade that is way darker if your eye light blue, and lighter if you have dark blue. Pink golds look amazing too. Neutrals are ok but they can get boring, so play it up! There are a bucnh of high pigmented shadows coming out. Try them! Just make sure to blend blen blend! And add a highlight (A light form of the color on your lids, usually blending with a shimmery white)
light pink or light blue
Almay has eyeshadows that bring out the blues in the eyes.
They are really nice you might want to check them out.I have
used the one for hazel, brown, and green eyes. My eyes are
hazel so i can wear browns, and greens to bring out either
to bring out the green or brown in my eyes.Maybe you should try them out and see what you think.Good luck!!!
You're a lucky one, like me....blue eyes can go multiple ways. I usually look for several colors...such as a spun silk for the entire eye, with a hazelnut on the outside of the eyelid, and then a color like multiple jades to make the eyes pop. Then use a indigo eyeliner and black long lash masacara.
Alot depends on the shape of your eyes too though...for example, some are able to actually show all the colors, where as in my case, I cover the entire lid to make my eyes pop out more. BUT
in reality, you can where whatever colors you want....
bronzes, hazlenuts, jades, silk, moonsotne, safari, blues, pinks, etc...the list just goes on and on...
if nothing else find a site where you can play with colors...such as the ';pink/silver'; colored company!!
(NO, I don't sell it, but use it a lot)
the opposite shade of your blue
so light blue eyes with sapphire shadow
sapphire blue with light blue // ice blue
overall, silvery shade would do

White and Silver! or for a evening look black are the best!!
Browns and neutrals. Maybe some deep blues.
If you are feeling happy and carefree, maybe some hard to come by citrus colors, like yellow and orange.
But NOT light blue or pinks, it clashes.
tanish or a brown color also try a darker blue.
i have blue eyes.
and ANY color looks good.
i wear brown, pink, gold, green, light blue, and a white shimmery color.
all you need to do is match them up with the right eyeliners.
like brown eyeliner goes good with the pink, green, and gold.
black eyeliner goes good with all of them.
the blue eyeliner goes good with pink, white, and light blue.
and the green eyeliner goes good with pink, white, and green.
they ALL look great on me and i recieve the most compliment with the green eyeliner and the white eyeshadow together :D :D :DWhat shade of eye shadow is best for blue eyes?????

Eye shadow base, homemade, opitional?
I want to know some good eye shadow bases for think black makeup. I wear it think and really dark, but i havnt found a good base.
No mac, nyc, elf, something cheap.
A home product? Chapstick havnt tryed it but will.
I use Nichole Miller, Ink shadow.
But anyone with anything cheap, will work. A store would be nice too.Eye shadow base, homemade, opitional?
Do you happen to have a Dollar Tree in your area? If so, in the make up section (of course), they've got a product called April Eye Gel in a green and white tube. I have some Mary Kay primer %26amp; I think this works just as well! To be honest, I don't even really know what it's for. I guess to help with wrinkle prevention, who knows... But, yeah it works good for me as a primer/base.
Oh, and by the way... Everything @ that store is $1! They have some great make up selections too. :)Eye shadow base, homemade, opitional?
NYC and ELF are known for being cheap, though! Everything at elf is like a dollar! NYC and Wet N Wild are around 2-3 dollars for any kind of makeup, you may be able to get an eye primer or neutral eye shadow as a base from those companies at CVS or Walgreens. Chapstick wouldn't be a good base because it is oily and the eyeshadow will slick off. You could just use a foundation powder or blush, too. Anything powdery or creamy to give it something to stick to. Wet N Wild sells cream eyeshadows that are liquid, get it in a neutral color and the black eyeshadow will stick to it.
well i ahve been using liquid and powder foundation so far and it works alright but i have really oily eyelids, so im gonna buy an actual base.

What eye shadow?plz helppp?
my eyes are dark green with hazel brown in the middel what eyeshadown should i wear to bring them out more... i want them tobe noticed.. xWhat eye shadow?plz helppp?
Use a neutral eyeshadow for your base color (ex: beige, mink, light gold etc) You can use a shimmery eyeshadow for these colors, because that always looks amazing and draws attention. Then on the outer corners use a dark ash or chocolate brown, and a 'highlighter' eyeshadow on your brow bone.
You can buy a quad eyeshadow at Wal Mart by Maybeline for like 6 bucks. And it has the labels to tell you where to put the eyeshadow! What eye shadow?plz helppp?
a chocolate/mocha brown color, but nothing too dark.
brown , bronze , toffee , coffee , black , gray , green , yellowish green , white , peach , pink , baby pink , light orange , gold , silver ....
apply some mascara , brown or black ones..
and green eyeliner ... or black .. or brown .. u can go for any of them ...
gd luck xx
Try blue. Blue is a very common eyeshadow color. Blues are all about being noticed, not natural. But blue doesn't necessarily go great with every ones eye color. blue goes best with brown eyes because they are so opposite that brown eyes will pop.
Consider silver/gray. Silver/gray brings on heavy metals and drama. Silver/gray are usually used as evening shades. It looks great with blue or brown eyes.
Put on brown. Brown or bronze gives off a great natural glow when worn properly. It looks best with dark brown eyes and hazel or light brown eyes depending on the shade of brown.
Be careful with green. Green is a color that was inspired by nature. One of springs best colors, it looks wonderful with Light brown or blue eyes. It can also be very easy to overdo and make you appear like the wicked witch of the East! Be careful and sparing in adding it.
Add some purple. This was the spring of 07's signature color but it looks great in any season when done well. It looks awesome with brown or green eyes.

GREEN or HAZEL EYES
1. Tried and True: brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)
2. Funky Favorites: gold, glowing, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)
ALL EYES
1. Tried and True (Classic): navy or charcoal base to define and a powder-blue shadow for highlighting (it brightens your brow bone so any eye color pops)
2. Funky Favorites: silver-sparkle shadow makes all eyes look edgy.

I have dark brown eyes and tan/olive skin. What eye makeup should i wear, color shadow??
You'd look good in the neutrals - tans or browns even the smoky eye look at videojug.com, or match it up to your clothes you're wearing - the top you have on needs to match the color tone (hue) of what you're make up is- Start there.I have dark brown eyes and tan/olive skin. Rimmel's Colour Mousse Eye Shadow?
I'm planning on buying this product tomorrow. Would anyone out there who's used it recommend me not to? How long does it stay on?
Thanks in advance! xRimmel's Colour Mousse Eye Shadow?
I love mine. On it's own it looks really nice but needs to be re-applied of wear a base underneath. It's also a good eyeshadow base if you want to make the colour pop. It doesn't last 8hours like the packaging says though.
I recommend it because it is good for the price you pay :-)

This girl completly reviews it, its a good review, and she even talks about some of the people who don't like it, but mostly they were complaning about it burning, but if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't reccommend it, if you don't go for it! Personally I love the Mousse Foundation.. I'm addicted to it :D
It's good but it only stays a few hours. I would recommend it as the colours are fab, but as long as you're willing to reapply every 3 hours or so.
I love it still!

Eye shadow for my weird eyes?
So, my eyelids appear very small, and the crease is very close to the lash line. How can I apply eyeshadow so they look bigger or just more normal? For example, when i apply any color to my lids, you can barely see it, and i love mascara.
here is a pic
http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r14/lunomoon4/DSCF0204-1.jpgEye shadow for my weird eyes?
Go on youtube and search up ';makeup for asian eyes';.
Most asians have a small eyelid or no eyelid, and they have ways to blend eyeshadow so it looks good. Eye shadow for my weird eyes?
plum eye shadow or a shimmery brown...some eyeliner, amd multiple layers of mascara...oh and use an eyelash curler
There's probably not much you can do with eye shadow, but mascara and eyeliner could accentuate your eyes very nicely.
you can use dark colours. it could make your eyelids look bigger. i always do that. you should try first, then see what happens...=D
try using brown if u really want to and do that like cat-eye egyptian thing. I have the same problem but i think with my eyes closed and i think a LOT so it's not as big of a problem for me. Your eyes are VERY beautiful though, and i think they would look better bare, but if u must, a brown or slighty purple mascara would probably do best :D.
try applying whatever colour you like then adding a small amount of a lighter shade in the middle of your eye lid, it'll give the illusion that your eyes are bigger.. also using lighter shades in the corner on your eyes then blend out to darker should make your eyes pop.. use lots of mascara.. a curling one to make your eyes look wider..
you dont need eye shadow for your eye.
its already naturally pretty.
plus, you cant even tell if it is on there or not. i think.
i guess its not meant to be.
you don't have to just apply shadow to your lower lid. when I use eye shadow i put it on my upper lid too. not quite to my eyebrow but yeah..that would solve your problem

What eye shadow should i use?
i have orban brownish gingery hair.
brown eyes
pale skin.
HELP. :DWhat eye shadow should i use?
I also have dark eyes, brown hair and pale skin. I usually rim the inside of my eyes with a brown or black eyeliner, this will intensify your eyes and will make them look very exotic. Then for eyeshadpw I usually use soft golds, shimmery browns, and even light purples to accent it. With pale skin just make sure you don't put to much eyeshadow on, a dab will do it, or else it looks over done. For everyday I usually use a dab of light browns, with a little of a light pale right under my brow, makes the arch of the eyebrows look bigger. Mascara is a must, I use extra long lash for evening and the regular for during the day. What eye shadow should i use?
I don't bother with mascara or eyeliner since they both make my eyes water...not to mention masacra can smear eyeglass lenses.
Color-wise you should use whatever eyeshadow clor you like. I like pinks, greens and blues for my eyes, but since I have brown eyes... . .
Well you don't want to do a dark shade because it may clash with your skin tone. So you want to go with a lighter shad like a light pink, light purple, light blue, or light brown.
pale neutral colours would look good for everyday use, like beiges, light browns, golds etc.
for a more highlighted look you can try brighter colours like bright green which i think would match the colouring you described
Soft/subtle green eyeshadow looks beautiful with your haircolour, and would also compliment your eyes.
As long as you don't go overboard. Seriously, a little bit looks feminine, but in my school there are lots of girls with too much eyeliner which just looks sluttish.
Green is a good colour. Try kyriandkimi eden green eyeshadow its really good.
Try an Olive Green eye shadow %26amp; use brown eyeliner on ur top lid only. Don't forget the mascara

I dont no what eye shadow colors?
i have brown hair hazel eyes and olive skin tone and i cant decide what eye shadows will workI dont no what eye shadow colors?
For hazel eyes - It is best to go neutral, this will make the eyes stand out, which is what EVVERY girl wants!! So, follow these steps...
1) Take a white shadow and apply it just below the eyebrows and on the inside of the eye, near the tearduct.
2) Use a light brown and just put it in the crease. I reccomend ligtened brown cream shadow by MAC.
3) Then, use a tan and brush it on just above the eyeliner in a line.
4) Last, take a brown on the bottom, the same MAC brand, but Chocolate brown, and go over all your eyelinger with this eyeshadow.
Good Luck!!!I dont no what eye shadow colors?

Best eye shadow color?
What color should I use if my eyes are blue, but sometime change to green/ greenish-blue? Also, when applying it, should I start dark at the bottom of my eyelids and lighter as I go up?Best eye shadow color?
Mid browns and taupes look smokin' hot on blue eyed girls.
Start with a dark beige over the eye socket, then blend a light brown around the outer corner of the eye and in the crease, and smudge a darker brown around the lash line.
Also, anything with a orange base like a shimmery apricot looks great too, because orange is an opposing colour to blue, making it stand out more.Best eye shadow color?
browns tans peaches soft blues
You don't necessarily need to use three different eyeshadow shades, Unless that is the look you are going for.
If you want my opinion, Brown, Dark Plum, Olive Green, Deep Green, Mellow Colors (like yellow, make sure it's like pastel or soft colors, nothing outrageous), And Dark Dark Vanilla's.
Lol i know long list right?
People are always like ';Omg! no eyeshadow's go with blue eyes!'; But it just is not true.

Try lighter colors.
Like light pink, peach, or light blue.
But don't wear it too bright of the color.
My eyes are the same color, only mostly they are green alot of the time. I wear brown on my actual eyelid and I make it darker in the outer edge of the crease, then I use some dark purple on top of that. Occasionally, I use green instead of purple. Then I use a shimmery nude/white eyeshadow (I like Victoria's Secret) on the top lightly for some shine, and then I also put the light shadow right under my eyebrow.Mountain E Bike Ni MH battery

You can call or email them. Let them know what happened. Usually cosmetics companies will reimburse you for it. Even if you don't have a receipt.
What you can do though, if they don't give you another one, is you can actually fix it.
There are a ton of tutorials on youtube that show you how to fix broken eyeshadows. Google it too.
Here is Koren. He is a very well known make up artist and shows how to fix broken shadows...

Well i was wondering wat shade of blush should i use since i am very plae and wat colr eye shadow???
I think that you should use a bronzer as a blush since you say you are pale because if you use a very pink blush you'll end up looking like you were over heated from the sun. You can use the Very Sexy ';Mosaic Bronzer'; by Victoria's Secret.
hope this helps.Well i was wondering wat shade of blush should i use since i am very plae and wat colr eye shadow???
i'm pale also.
but i have freckles.
so the situation is a bit diff.
but you've already received one great answer.
bronzer as blush.
blush tends to make me look over-heated.
where as bronzer or some extremely light blushes look lovely.
as for eye shadow, it depends on the color of your eyes.
- - i have green eyes, and brown shadows make them look amazing and they go well with my light skin.

Eye shadow help:) easy question just a color!?
hey!
okay so my friend gave me this really cute make over. i have hazel eyes and wear black eye liner on top%26amp;bottom. she will not tell me what color the eye shadow is because she is being a pain in the butt%26amp; wants me to look for it my self! ugh. So i need help what would look good with that?? give me like a combanation like brown white and idk??
thankss!Eye shadow help:) easy question just a color!?
i reckon green bronze and gold
just a guess... it could have been anything really.Eye shadow help:) easy question just a color!?
Well it might have been brown or gold or maybe pink. It depends. But if it really made your eyes pop then it was probably one of those colors or a combo of the 3. Green, light brown, or purple might have been it too. If it was like a whole bunch of colors with the whole highlights and base thing then idk. Well i hope that helped at all. Also, what color did it look like??? That would be helpful in your search for that color. lol

Eye shadow question?
I have light blue eyes, with a little bit of yellow in them. Sometimes they look green. I was just wondering whats the best eyeshadow color for them? I also have darker red hair. Thanks!Eye shadow question?
I believe it's less about color and more about shade. I have green eyes and golden brown hair. I love different color eyeshadows but because my eyes are small I find that darker or deeper colors don't look well on me. So try different colors, in different shades, and different styles. You'll find that there are tons of colors in different brands that work for you. Try buying from a store like Victoria's Secret. They have a return policy that allows you to exchange or return for any reason so you can find the shade you truely like. So you don't have to worry about being stuck with a shade that you thought you liked in the store.Eye shadow question?
I believe the color for you since you have darker hair would be a light color maybe a carolina blue or light green it would bring out your eyes and your natural skin and hair tones
For everyday, I would use a medium to dark brown shadow. I have blue/green eyes and it really makes them stand out.
I would think greens and earthtones would play them up nicely
Smokey eyes......browns, greys, silvers, maybe even a nice pink
AUBURN!
hmm...I would say a light green or purple...or maybe even a greyish blue...

you really should use a kina light purple k
Brown on your crease on your eye lid, copper (shiny) on top of the brown, and light beige on top of your eyelid and just under your eyebrow.... I know a girl that has red hair and those colors on her eyes are beautiful.

Eye shadow highlight colors?
What color of eye shadow should i use to bring out the green in my eyes? I have brown eyes with a hint of green in the middle....a represenative at M.A.C cosmetics told me purple....idk...so wat colors would make my eyes greener?Eye shadow highlight colors?
purple will do that, but i like oranges and pinks more for my green eyes.Eye shadow highlight colors?
A wonderful way to bring out those stunning green eyes is with eyeshadow. You'll find that warm colors like deep purples, plums, mauves, lilacs, golds, bronzes, deep greens, coppers, browns, medium pinks, peaches, and apricots are all excellent choices for green eyes.
You should avoid cool colors like blues, silvers, whites and pastels since they can give you a washed-out look.
Purple is good for green eyes. When you want to bring out the colour in your eyes its good to use the completely opposite colour. For example i have blue eyes so when i want them to look extra blue, i use pinks and oranges. Purple should help with that. And make them green! :) Maybe orange might work on green eyes too...
Experiment too see which looks best!
Warm pink and salmon can bring out the gree in your eyrs, just don't over-do it and it should look great!

Eye shadow....Does this effect it?
I have no idea how to apply eye shadow and I've tried experimenting but it always makes me look like I got into a fight and lost. Now I'm not sure if this is relevent but does being a plus sized woman have anything to do with how it can be applied? I don't know if this matters either but whenever I apply it my skin moves with every touch. Any tips on making eye shadow easier to apply ?? ThanksEye shadow....Does this effect it?
First start out with a good soft medium brush (head of brush about twice the size of a pencil eraser) try out MAC, Stila, Nars, ect. Or for cheaper but still good quality, Sonia Kashuk at Target. You can also go to an art supply store and get a good quality paint brush. Theyre excellent tools. Next for your face begin with a good primer for your eye. Primer Potion by Urban Decay is GREAT. But almost every drugstore brand has an eye base. Then do a light dusting of translucent powder with a big fluffy brush. Next take your brush, and swirl into shadow, then tap off excess. LIGHTLY pull your skin taut with one finger (not too hard, you dont want to damage skin) then starting at middle of lid lightly wisk brush back and forth, and in circular motions going to outer lid, back to the middle and then over to inner corner and all the way back to outer corner. Use a light /light/medium shade for this. Then if yu want apply a darker shade to crease using a ';rainbow'; motion going back and forth but careful not to go to far in the inner corner. Then you can finish it off with a light shimmery shade blended from the dark crease color, all the way up to yoru browbone and blending into your arch. Wipe off any excess around the eye with a cotton ball. If you get a a good cream shadow, these are easier to apply, but can be messy and sometimes crease. Buy a trio color set and practice with that. Then move forward as you feel neccessary. Being a little overweight shouldnt inhibit you from creating a beautiful eye. If you visit a MySpace makeup group there are LOTS of pics where girls give what they used and how. DEFINITELY check it out, they will help you improve SO much! E-mail me for more information if you are interested:)Eye shadow....Does this effect it?
If you're asking on how to make eye-shadow actually stay, then I recommend applying concealer first to make your shadow last longer.
With that being said, it depends on what kind of eye shadow effect you're looking for! The only reason why you're shadow would ever look like you've gotten into a fight and lost is if you do what many people call a ';raccoon eye,'; which is when you apply too much black eye liner around the bottom lid of your eye. (sometimes even the top, too) yuck! I really don't recommend this look, unless you're trying to make a statement, or its, well, Halloween.
If you want a minimalistic look thats still very attractive, Id recommend an eye shadow that comes in three coordinating colors - one light, one medium, and one dark. For example, I love pinkish tones with my skin (I have light/medium skin) so I use Clinique High Impact Shadow in Sugar Sugar %26amp; Rose Wine (3 colors - a whitish, a pinkish, and a rose wine color).
First, I apply the lightest color to the inner corners of my eyes, and lightly dust it over my whole lid (this is just for a shimmering effect and it also makes my eyes look more wide %26amp; awake). Then, I use the pinking eye color over my whole lid, you can even dust some under your eyebrow for even more shimmer. Lastly, for more dramatic look, I use the dark color in my eye crease and blend outward so that its not too thick, but it makes an impression!
My shadow for everyday is usually very minimalistic, and I love using creme shadows as a base (Maybelline Dream Mousse, Mac Creme Shadows) Usually every brand has some kind of creme based shadow. My personal favorite is the Sheer Cover creme shadow. After I apply my base, I follow the same steps as above. I like creme shadows because they add a glow %26amp; shimmering effect.
As for being plus size, it shouldn't matter, since its all about technique. You're skin's condition could affect it, though...I.E. if you have oily or dry skin. Because if its oily, its much more difficult to keep make-up looking as fresh as it could be.
I hope this helps...Good luck!
use your finger it is easyer
well for your eyeshadow not to smudge i would use a gell based 1...it stays put on for hours.... chck the link below u mite hav seen it already but in my opinion it is very helpful...
I would recommend good makeup brushes. Mary Kay has a really nice set, and a Mary Kay consultant can help you with colors and technique.
Go tO mac.com
Use a small brush to apply. Its much better than those foam tipped swabs.
Since you are a novice at make-up then stick to the creme eyeshadows. I likes Maybelline allot. They have pretty colors in every shade and not too expensive either. Just use your finger and stick to the lid for your main color.
NO being a plus sized woman doesn't matter. Only shape of eye, skin texture, skin color, %26amp; the texture of the eyeshadow( loose color, creme, or pallette) are considered when it comes to pretying up your eyes.
I also recommend the book ';Making Faces'; by Kevyn Aucoin
http://www.amazon.com/Making-Faces-Kevyn鈥?/a> To help you with your technique for when yo wanna try new looks. But for now stick to the cremes their easy and almost fool proof.
Good Luck!
Well being plus size has no effect on how make up is applied. Buy some good brushes from MAC cosmetics or any beauty supply store. Then you always want to stay light (you can always add as you go along) just try different shades and shadows to see what works best on your face. Eye shadow and eyeliner question.?
I have really really pale skin, and was wondering
what colors of eyeshadow would look best without making me look like a clown?Same with eyeliner.I have hazel eyes if that helps.
Also,i'd like to ask the same question about lipstick.
i've been wearing makeup for years but I want to make it look right.Eye shadow and eyeliner question.?
Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link belowEye shadow and eyeliner question.?
I think a khaki color would be just the shade for you.
I would wear bronze and cream colours no eyeliner just a good black mascara one that makes your lashes look longer. A bronze colour on cheeks and lips
the question isn't really about shades so much as it is about technique... and with fair skin, it's all about blending. The right tools and techniques will make most colors look good.
Try the book 'Making Faces' by Kevin Aucoin and brushes by Bobbi Brown (they're pretty affordable and last a long time). And practice, practice, practice!
Hmm well if u really don't light bright colors bc it makes you look like a clown i would stick with maybe pale colors like pale pink if that dosen't work i would try dark colors but kind of stay away from the blue bc if your skin is really pale and you use dark blue it dose not look very good with light skin hmm or you can also do gold colors with your hazel eys gold would look pretty well it depends on outfits sometimes to make sure when you put on make up make sure it is the color of your outfit but stands out hmm about the lipstick i would go for pale pretty colors even though you say you prettty pale it looks great trust me bc you don't want bright colors like red to make you look like a clown
HOPED I HELP :)
Thx ;)
pinkish eyeshadows.....and pink lipstick and charcoal eyeliners once you put on the eyeliner you should blend with a q-tip to define the fine line
pink and orange
if you have really pale skin then what you need to do is enhance your eye colour to take the attraction away from your skin. try to avoid pink %26amp; red as an eye shadow as this only clashes with the paleness of you skin my advice is brown %26amp; blue (not light blue)try not to make it not too heavy. also try dark blue eyeliner if you wear blue eye shadow and brown eyeliner for brown eye shadow. p.s. please realise that as i am not able to see your skin complexion i can only give you advice from other people i have helped previously. I really hope that this helps. good luck!
I, too, have pale skin and hazel eyes, i try to stick to more natural tones like pink, brown, and orange. a soft pink or brown lipstick looks nice, and try to avoid deep shades of red and pink.
try light brown shades for eyeliner. and natural colors for eyeshadow. same goes for lips.
good luck.
greens and golds purlpes for eyeshadows.. and light greens or light browns for liners.
.
Since you have pale skin, try to stick with any shades of brown. Remember, you control how dark it's put on...MAC has a great color called Ricepaper that is paired really well with their shimmery brown called Woodwinked. Since your eyes are hazel, try a plum or lavender eye liner, or of course your staple would be a coppery brown. Good luck!
umm dont try anything bright.... maybe a pale pink.. and nude colours such as light browns.i have hazel eyes as well and brown eyer.. cuz i have brown hair..i also se purple and black they seem to compliment my eyes ...hope i helped

What color of eye shadow should i use...?
i have big blue eyes. What color of eye shadow should i use...?
I have friends who are lucky like you in the big, blue eyes department. They all look the best with a subtle shade of lilac on the lid, just a hint of a deeper purple shade in the crease, and then an ivory shadow under the brow. Not knowing about the rest of you, i.e. your hair color skin-type, I can suggest a brownish/black mascara to be safe. Don't use too much as it harshen the appeal of those lovely eyes!!What color of eye shadow should i use...?
';Whore 21';, by Max Factor
Shiney gray with a hint of blue, it'll bring you eyes out more.
or if you want to look older, wear brown below the eyebrowns, with a more natural color over the entire lid.
okay, if i was you i would use, blues%26amp; grays.
u can try grey color..
You should try a teal color.
You're supposed to use colors that are on the opposite side of the color wheel (aka oranges). Now this doesn't mean to go out and buy the brightest, ugliest orange you can find. Bronze, copper, and browns would do wonders for your eyes!! I recommend lining your eyes with a brown liner too to make them stand out even more!!!
If you're going to a more sultry look, you should definitely use a charcoal colored shadow because it will make your eyes ';pop';.
one word... dark blue!
green and also rainbow colors
I have big blue eyes too and I get a lot of compliments on lighter shades such as blue, white, and green. Just be modest and don't overkill on the shadow. Also, a little mascara and eye liner goes a long way with blue eyes too!
It's not as straight forward as your eye colour is depends on your whole complexion but blues and pinks are a good bet.
You are a very fortunate and lucky eyes! I used to work at a make-up booth at the mall, and for big blue eyes, The neutral colors would really bring out your eyes. Neutrals like greys, dusty white, mohagony, browns and such. That will make you look very stylish!!!
A light green. It makes your blue eyes pop. Experiment with different shades to match your shade perfectly.
go for the smokey look. that's hot.
browns look really good like covergirls trio eyeshadow called sunset or sunrise, and pinks, greens, golds, purples.
Pinks (any shade from very pale to almost red) and golds or corals - anything warm. :)
light colors: green, blue, pink, green, etc. Also apply some white eye shadow in the skin under your eyebrow, they say it brings out your eyes, dont forget the mascara!Mountain E Bike Ni MH battery
Best eye shadow color for hazel eyes?
i've got hazel eyes, whats the best eyeshadow color forr that ?
thanksss(:Best eye shadow color for hazel eyes?
Makeup for hazel eyes should start with a base coat of a neutral or matte eyeshadow color over the entire eyelid. This will start your makeup colors for hazel eyes.
Base colors to begin with range from beige to champagne shades. Darker shades work well if you have a darker complexion as do many of the brighter shades. This is not necessarily true for women with lighter complexions. Frosted and jeweled shades often create a color nightmare with your skin tone. They can look heavy or make your skin look sallow.
Contouring involves applying a darker shade of eyeshadow to the crease of the eye. The crease is located below the brow line but above the lid, in the crease of the eye. A darker, contrasting shade is used and blended into the base color that provides depth to eye color and adds mystery.
When you choose make up for hazel eyes, you should try to fit your makeup to match your present eye color. The colors you'd choose for blue eyes, will vary from the colors you'd choose when your eyes are brown. Many eye shadow's come as a trio of colors. These are great because they're color combination's that give you all three colors you'll need; base, contour, and highlight.
A light, shimmery color is used on the brow bone to highlight your eyes. A white or champagne is a good choice. Use highlighters on the inner eye open up your eyes and create brightness.
A general rule of thumb is to use lighter matte colors as your base color, darker colors as your contouring color, and the lightest colors as your highlighting color.
Eyeliner outlines your eyes and provides even more depth. Eyeliner can be applied on the rim of each eyelid or just above and below lash lines. To make your eyes pop even more, apply a darker shade above and below lash lines, and a white eyeliner in the rims of your eyes. This trick pulls out the whites in your eyes, which brightens up your eyes and makes you look wide awake, even if you're tired and low on energy.
Black eyeliners are great for any eye color, but blue liners look good on blue eyes, just as green liners look good on green eyes. Different liner's create different moods, so use them to reflect your personality.
Mascara is used to accentuate any eye color. Most women, regardless of eye color, use a black mascara. Black defines your eyes and gives length and fullness to sparse lashes. Choose either a heavy or light application. If you use more than one coat of mascara, be sure to allow it to dry inbetween coats.
The time of day should help you choose how much to wear. Use lighter applications during the day, and heavier applications for night time. Of course, dark browns also work well, especially if your eyes stay brown most of the time.

(: But your eyelids have to be big for eyeshadow. Smokey grays or blacks or dark neautral solid colors are good for hazel. MY PIC IS NAVY BLUE!
