Eye shadow base, homemade, opitional?

I want to know some good eye shadow bases for think black makeup. I wear it think and really dark, but i havnt found a good base.

No mac, nyc, elf, something cheap.

A home product? Chapstick havnt tryed it but will.

I use Nichole Miller, Ink shadow.

But anyone with anything cheap, will work. A store would be nice too.Eye shadow base, homemade, opitional?
Do you happen to have a Dollar Tree in your area? If so, in the make up section (of course), they've got a product called April Eye Gel in a green and white tube. I have some Mary Kay primer %26amp; I think this works just as well! To be honest, I don't even really know what it's for. I guess to help with wrinkle prevention, who knows... But, yeah it works good for me as a primer/base.

Oh, and by the way... Everything @ that store is $1! They have some great make up selections too. :)Eye shadow base, homemade, opitional?
NYC and ELF are known for being cheap, though! Everything at elf is like a dollar! NYC and Wet N Wild are around 2-3 dollars for any kind of makeup, you may be able to get an eye primer or neutral eye shadow as a base from those companies at CVS or Walgreens. Chapstick wouldn't be a good base because it is oily and the eyeshadow will slick off. You could just use a foundation powder or blush, too. Anything powdery or creamy to give it something to stick to. Wet N Wild sells cream eyeshadows that are liquid, get it in a neutral color and the black eyeshadow will stick to it.
well i ahve been using liquid and powder foundation so far and it works alright but i have really oily eyelids, so im gonna buy an actual base.
